Where to Get Married in Brooklyn Bridge Park

It’s a great place for weddings on both sides of the Brooklyn Bridge if you can get your hands on one of these prime locations like Sophia & Vinny were able to do here. We had fun photographing them getting married at this location because it was something different than what most couples choose when they’re looking for intimate wedding venues in Brooklyn.

Before their wedding ceremony, Sophia and Vinny took portraits of their DUMBO elopement. DUMBO wedding photos are an excellent choice for couples who want to have a picture perfect NYC Skyline backdrop in Brooklyn. They decided that they would take some photos by the waterfront before heading to the ceremony site.

DUMBO is one of our favorite neighborhoods because it’s so unique with brick buildings lining each street. You can’t go wrong taking pictures there or having your Brooklyn Bridge Park wedding at this location which provides great views up and down both sides of the East River plus spectacular skyline backgrounds from either side as well.

Fun and Intimate NYC Wedding in the Park with Friends

There are so many locations to get married in this park in Brooklyn. Vinny and Sophia chose a spot on the south side of the park with the NYC views. It was shaded by some lovely trees which kept their family and friends feeling good in the warm weather.

The other places you can get married are by Jane’s Carousel, the waterfront, the Max Family Garden, and Pebble Beach. You have endless possibilities when it comes to Brooklyn Bridge Park weddings. Some couples have even tied the knot with the Manhattan Bridge as the backdrop. These two chose the south side of the park so they could have a little bit more privacy, given that the north side is a little busier.

Sophia and Vinny wanted to have an informal city hall type ceremony that would be meaningful for them but also easy going and private enough so they wouldn’t feel stressed out doing it all very formal like some traditional weddings can make people feel. They had asked us if we knew any places in the park where we could go do this. We chose to have their Brooklyn Bridge Park wedding in the afternoon because the couple wanted to have dinner with their loved ones after.
