Since Nicole and Frank opted not to do a first look, we took their wedding portraits after the ceremony. As Brooklyn wedding photographers, we love coming to this borough to cover special days like this. The couple obtained a permit for Gantry Plaza State Park. It’s necessary to get the proper paperwork to use this location for your New York wedding photography.

As we mentioned before, if you want to take photos of your wedding in this area, please obtain a permit. The happy couple hired a shuttle to drive the couple and their wedding party to the park. We used the New York City skyline as a backdrop, making beautiful formal photos. Once their family and wedding party photos were done, we sent them back to the shuttle. Then it was time for the couple to get some intimate portraiture.

While we also took some fun pictures at the venue, these two wanted some intimate time in the park. The Bordone LIC is conveniently located a short ride away from the waterfront.
