When Tiffany and Harrison chose Rockefeller State Park Preserve for their engagement photos, we, Megan and Kenneth, couldn’t have been more thrilled. As Hudson Valley engagement photographers, we know the park’s beauty is unmatched, especially in autumn. Every element, from the scenic trails to the vibrant fall foliage, creates the perfect backdrop for Tarrytown engagement photography. Not only does Rockefeller State Park exude charm, but it also offers an atmosphere that beautifully complements love stories.

Their engagement session began a couple of hours before sunset, bathing everything in a golden glow. As the sun dipped lower, the light turned even warmer, adding a magical touch to Tiffany and Harrison’s Rockefeller State Park engagement photos. They were so playful and relaxed, which brought out their natural connection in every shot. This genuine warmth is what we, as Beacon engagement photographers, always strive to capture.
Tarrytown Engagement Photography Location for Fall Foliage
The park’s 1700 acres offer endless opportunities for photos, with breathtaking landscapes at every turn. For Tiffany and Harrison, this location held sentimental value; they enjoyed their first date here. Hearing their stories made documenting their engagement feel even more meaningful. Rockefeller State Park Preserve is a popular spot for Westchester engagement photo sessions, and it’s easy to see why. The park’s rolling hills, tranquil lake, and historic stone bridge create a storybook setting.
Hudson Valley Engagement Session in Tarrytown, NY
We began the session at the iconic stone bridge, which serves as one of the park’s most picturesque spots. With the lake shimmering behind them, Tiffany and Harrison shared some intimate moments, framed by the rustic environment. From there, we wandered the lush trails, perfect for capturing the candid shots we love as Hudson Valley engagement photographers. Every path offered new and beautiful backdrops, from dense woods to wide-open meadows.
Autumn Rockefeller State Park Engagement Photos with Colorful Leaves
A highlight of the day came when Tiffany and Harrison led us to a secluded spot by the lake. This was where they often picnicked during the early days of their relationship. Watching them laugh and share memories brought out a tender side to their session, giving us beautiful, heartfelt moments to capture. As Hudson Valley engagement photographers, these genuine moments are what we cherish most, they truly reflect each couple’s love story.
