The couple started off the day in their respective getting ready locations. Kim put her dress on at the Aloft Hotel in LIC. The penthouse at this hotel is a great spot for those who are tying the knot. You’ll have ample room to dress and have your closest wedding party members start the day with you. David put on his suit at the Bordone’s upstairs suites. We love how bright every room at this New York wedding venue is.

Enchanting Indoor Ceremony at the Bordone LIC

Our team of Hudson Valley wedding photographers set up Kim and David on the top floor for their first look. Since it was pouring rain, we took the majority of photos inside. The blank canvas of this venue provides ample opportunity for couples to move around and be free. Plus, the gorgeous furniture at this event made for some nice places to pose as well. When it comes to indoor Bordone wedding photos, sometimes you have to get creative.

Raw Space Event Venue in New York with Indoor and Outdoor Options

These two braved the rainy weather for a few shots outside. We ran the couple out for about two minutes with their umbrella to capture some stunning shots. Rainy days can make for some of the most epic photography opportunities. It’s also a great point to document your day just how it actually went down. After all, they say rain is good luck.

Their cozy indoor Bordone wedding is a sight to be seen. Wedding guests gathered around while David and Kim said their vows against the Midtown Manhattan and East River backdrop. With droplets pouring down on the windows, the natural light that came through is just stunning. Who needs an outdoor ceremony with a high rise space like this? The venue offers stunning spaces both out and indoors for your big day, in case of inclement weather.

DJ Navarro from 74Events had the dance floor popping all night long. As the lights were aglow on the Queensboro Bridge, this rainy wedding at the Bordone sparkled inside and out.
