We plan the spot with you ahead of time, arrive before you, and stay out of sight until the moment. After you say it, we step out to celebrate with you.
Where do you photograph proposals?

How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can. Once you have a rough date and a spot in mind, reach out and we will check our calendar and help you plan the details.
Can you photograph our engagement session too?
Yes. Engagement sessions start at $350, and we are happy to plan one for after the proposal. Learn more about our engagement sessions.
What if my partner is camera shy?
That is very common, and it is a big reason hidden proposal photography works so well. After the yes, we keep things relaxed and offer gentle direction so nobody is left wondering what to do.
How does a surprise proposal shoot work if my partner does not know?
We plan everything with you ahead of time: the exact spot, the timing and a signal. We arrive early, blend in like any other visitors, and photograph from a distance with long lenses so the moment stays natural. Right after the proposal we come say congratulations and take a few portraits of you together.
What is the plan if it rains?
We choose a backup date, or a sheltered alternate spot, with you before the day. If the forecast looks rough we check in early so you are never guessing.
How many photos will we get?
You receive a gallery of edited images covering the lead up, the proposal itself and the portraits afterward. The exact number depends on how long the moment and the portraits run, and we are happy to talk through what to expect.
