One of the most romantic places to tie the knot in Central Park is located on the North side. Danielle and Gregg had a beautiful Conservatory Garden wedding on a rainy spring day. We love this intimate space in the city with immaculately manicured plants and florals. If you’re thinking of having an intimate wedding in New York, consider this beautiful garden.
The Conservatory Garden is located on the North side of New York City’s Central Park. It dates back to 1913 and has been used as a location for weddings ever since. It’s an intimate space with manicured plants, flowers and even a fish pond. This Conservatory Garden wedding was small, but so meaningful.
This beautiful garden in the city is open to the public year-round from 8am-6pm daily. It is free to visit and has benches perfect for jotting down your thoughts or taking a short rest in nature. However, if you’re planning to get married here, you need a permit. It’s totally worth it – this New York City elopement venue is special place that will leave you in awe!
These two started the day at the Langham Hotel in Manhattan. Before getting married in Central Park, we took getting ready photos at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were spacious with a ton of beautiful natural light. Danielle and Gregg got ready with family and friends around them.
Although it was an intimate wedding, these two had full bridal parties to support them throughout their Conservatory Garden elopement. We love when our couples have a supportive crew of loved ones by their side. Plus, it can always make for some fun wedding photography in Central Park to have friends posing with the couple.
Danielle and Gregg’s wedding was slated to be a rainy day, but thankfully the rain held off during their Conservatory Garden wedding ceremony. It felt like totally perfect timing for their photography. Even though it started to rain very shortly after, these two were super lucky with the weather on their wedding day.
After their Central Park elopement ceremony, we took photos with family and friends. We did this under the canopy of trees on one of the walkways in the Conservatory Garden. This beautifully manicured space ended up working perfectly, as the trees kept the rain off of the couple and their loved ones.
Working with us as a New York photo and video team, these two had Central Park wedding videography as a part of their package. We love doing highlight reels for couples who elope in New York City. Although the celebration is intimate, small weddings make for beautiful and touching memories on video.
During their engagement photos on the Brooklyn Bridge, we taught Danielle and Gregg a little about posing. These two totally pulled out all of the tricks they’d learned for their Conservatory Garden wedding photos, making for a super fun photo shoot. Though we don’t typically include engagement sessions with elopement packages in New York, these two had initially planned a much larger wedding that didn’t end up happening.
As New York wedding photographers, weddings at the Conservatory Garden are definitely a favorite for us. When we were photographing Danielle and Gregg’s Conservatory Garden wedding, we loved the intimate moments they shared among their closest family and friends. Because our couples usually book us for photo and video packages together, couples get a chance to tell us exactly what they envision for their wedding day.
We think that Danielle and Gregg had such a beautifully intimate Conservatory Garden wedding in Central Park. A Conservatory Garden wedding can be an affordable and intimate way to say “I do!” in the city. If you’re thinking of having a small wedding in New York, consider this Conservatory Garden as your venue.
Getting married at Conservatory Garden is such a fun experience. We love getting to know our couples on a deeper level, and small Central Park weddings let us build strong connections with our couples throughout the process of planning their elopement ceremony in the park. Having a comfortable connection allows us to work best as candid New York wedding photographers. We love getting to know our couples ahead of time so that they feel good about themselves on their wedding day.
Though we typically feel so honored to be included as part of any couple’s special day, we especially enjoy shooting Conservatory Garden weddings because it really feels like we’re capturing the romance and beauty of these intimate New York elopements. Conservatory Garden weddings in Central Park are a one-of-a-kind experience, and New York elopements make for some of the most beautiful wedding photography.
