Lavicke and Dayna had a stunning summer DUMBO engagement session in Brooklyn Bridge Park. This iconic photo shoot featured the Brooklyn Bridge, Jane’s Carousel, the waterfront, and Washington Street. The weather was perfect, and the light was magical. The couple looked amazing together. They were so natural and comfortable in front of the camera. It was a pleasure to photograph them.

Lavicke and Dayna are such a beautiful couple, inside and out. They are so in love and it shows! We are so excited to share these stunning images. These two were absolutely meant to be together. We started the session at the Brooklyn Bridge. The light was perfect and the couple was so natural in front of the camera. This is a great spot early in the morning when no one else is around.
The best time to take engagement photos on the Brooklyn Bridge is at sunrise. This is because there are very few people around and the light is beautiful. You can get some great shots without any people in them. The Brooklyn Bridge is also a great spot for a sunset shoot, but there will be more people around at that time.
After the Brooklyn Bridge, we walked to Washington Street in DUMBO. This is a great spot for photos because of the beautiful views of the Manhattan Bridge. Definitely note that this is an active street where cars drive, so make sure to go early. Less traffic makes for less interruptions during your session.

The next on the shoot was Jane’s Carousel. This is a must-do for any DUMBO engagement session! The carousel is absolutely beautiful and it makes for some amazing photos. Just be sure to go early to avoid the crowds. Jane’s Carousel has beautiful twinkle lights that make for a gorgeous and colorful backdrop for your photo shoot.
There are endless possibilities for what to wear for your summer engagement photo shoot in Brooklyn Bridge Park. You can dress up or down, depending on your style. We recommend wearing something that is comfortable and that you feel great in. Lavicke and Dayna wore summery colors that looked amazing against the architecture of the park and the sunny summer morning light.
