We're Beacon-based Hudson Valley & Catskills wedding + elopement photographers who love to capture natural, authentic moments for all couples in love.
In a short and sweet ceremony, Hana and Daniel had an intimate Bow Bridge elopement. Officiated by Weddings by Larissa, this Central Park wedding was simple and intimate. The only guests in attendance were us, their witnesses! As New York wedding photographers, it’s always an honor to be able to do this for our couples.

Considered one of the most romantic places in New York City to get married, this popular spot set the perfect backdrop. That being said, it is a wildly popular spot. Hana and Daniel’s ceremony took place on a weekday at 8:00 AM. Wedding ceremonies aren’t always this early, but when it comes to getting married in Central Park, early is always better.
When you consider having a morning elopement in NYC, you’ll get wedding photos like no other. Whether it’s a destination wedding or you’re based in New York, this backdrop is super popular for wedding ceremonies. With that in mind, you’ll want to have as few tourists and people out of the background of your photos.

Plus, you can always make a day of it once your actual Central Park wedding is complete! After this Bow Bridge elopement, Hana and Daniel decided to head out to breakfast together. You can have a super sweet breakfast or brunch after your morning wedding ceremony. Heck, when we got married, we had a brunch wedding altogether.
Morning weddings are also fantastic for good lighting. Especially in the fall, the sun rises a little later and sets a little earlier. The sun is hanging lower than it does in the summer, and you can get some gorgeous, crisp New York City wedding photos in Central Park during a morning ceremony.

Some other popular spots in Central Park for elopements include the Wisteria Pergola, Wagner Cove, the Conservatory Garden, Gapstow Bridge, and Bethesda Terrace. We love capturing different intimate occasions in this cinematic part of NYC. As New York wedding photographers, Central Park elopements are always so dreamy to capture.
Taking place in the early fall, Central Park’s color palette was just beginning to change. Though we didn’t quite reach peak foliage, we still saw changing color in the surrounding trees. We loved that these two decided to have a fall wedding in Central Park because the air is cooler, the trees are changing, and the light is perfect.

As a wedding photography team in New York, capturing intimate elopements like these always makes us so happy. Although we do lots of bigger wedding packages, doing elopement packages like these on weekdays is a beautiful change in our routine. We get to see a more intimate side of love stories, and have lots more time for a wedding photo shoot in Central Park afterward.
Whether you’re taking engagement photos or spending your wedding day in Central Park, it’s undeniably one of the most beautiful places to showcase your love story. We’re so honored that Hana and Daniel chose us to capture their Bow Bridge elopement. This one-of-a-kind location in NYC is one of our favorite places to take wedding photos.

As two of the top wedding photographers in New York, we’d love to help with your Bow Bridge elopement. We love taking Central Park wedding photos and always want to make couples feel amazing. Whether you’re going for peak NYC fall foliage in the park or beautiful spring blossoms, let us know. We’d love to help capture your special day.
Either way works for us! We’ll be in touch in no time at all to book in a chat with you and, yes, we’re sure Cordy and Phoebe will pop up and say hi.
