In a short and sweet ceremony, Hana and Daniel had an intimate Bow Bridge elopement. Officiated by Weddings by Larissa, this Central Park wedding was simple and intimate. The only guests in attendance were us, their witnesses! As New York wedding photographers, it’s always an honor to be able to do this for our couples.
Bow Bridge Elopement Photos in Central Park
Considered one of the most romantic places in New York City to get married, this popular spot set the perfect backdrop. That being said, it is a wildly popular spot. Hana and Daniel’s ceremony took place on a weekday at 8:00 AM. Wedding ceremonies aren’t always this early, but when it comes to getting married in Central Park, early is always better.
Morning Wedding Photos in New York City
When you consider having a morning elopement in NYC, you’ll get wedding photos like no other. Whether it’s a destination wedding or you’re based in New York, this backdrop is super popular for wedding ceremonies. With that in mind, you’ll want to have as few tourists and people out of the background of your photos.
NYC Breakfast or Brunch Weddings
Plus, you can always make a day of it once your actual Central Park wedding is complete! After this Bow Bridge elopement, Hana and Daniel decided to head out to breakfast together. You can have a super sweet breakfast or brunch after your morning wedding ceremony. Heck, when we got married, we had a brunch wedding altogether.
Wedding Photographers in New York Capture Bow Bridge Elopement
Morning weddings are also fantastic for good lighting. Especially in the fall, the sun rises a little later and sets a little earlier. The sun is hanging lower than it does in the summer, and you can get some gorgeous, crisp New York City wedding photos in Central Park during a morning ceremony.
Where to Do Wedding Photography in Central Park
Some other popular spots in Central Park for elopements include the Wisteria Pergola, Wagner Cove, the Conservatory Garden, Gapstow Bridge, and Bethesda Terrace. We love capturing different intimate occasions in this cinematic part of NYC. As New York wedding photographers, Central Park elopements are always so dreamy to capture.
Bow Bridge Elopement with Autumn Colors
Taking place in the early fall, Central Park’s color palette was just beginning to change. Though we didn’t quite reach peak foliage, we still saw changing color in the surrounding trees. We loved that these two decided to have a fall wedding in Central Park because the air is cooler, the trees are changing, and the light is perfect.
