On a beautiful morning in Manhattan, we met up with Michael and Rollie for their intimate West Village engagement photos. This gorgeous day was a perfect one for taking some iconic pictures of this lovely couple. With lots of connection to the neighborhood, these two took a stroll down memory lane.

Our first stop was Washington Square Park. The iconic arches by the fountain were a great start for some quick West Village engagement photos. This morning’s sun was shining bright which helped make these two shine. These two jumped right into posing and were total naturals with the camera.

We then went for a walk through the West Village and took some Autumn engagement photos. Fall is such a beautiful time of year in New York City! Rollie and Michael wanted to take some Stonewall engagement photos closer to the end of their session. This historical monument to gay rights in the West Village was the perfect spot to grab some romantic photos. They also pulled out a pride flag to pose with, making for some colorful and creative images. As New York wedding photographers, we love when couples incorporate such personal elements into their session.
