Getting Ready Inside a Historic Hudson Valley Mansion

Le Chateau sits in South Salem on a hillside, offering beautiful private suites for couples to prepare in. Emily was in her suite with her hair and makeup being done by the talented team on site. Meanwhile, Liron got ready with his closest friends in a private suite on the other side of the venue. Morning Details and Bridal Prep at Le Chateau

Next, we moved into getting-ready coverage with Emily, her sister, and her mother by her side. There is something so tender about watching a bride prepare surrounded by the women she loves most. We are always present for those quiet, in-between moments that tell the full story of a wedding day. Liron had his own relaxed getting-ready time with close friends before the couple came together. The First Look and Wedding Pictures at Le Chateau

The first look took place in the backyard space, overlooking the stunning rolling hills of the Hudson Valley. As a Beacon-based photography team, we know this landscape well, and it simply never gets old. The lush greenery and the wide open sky created a perfectly natural, romantic frame around Emily and Liron. Liron’s reaction when he turned around was one of those beautiful moments we will always carry with us. After the first look, we took the couple through the beautiful stonework that makes Le Chateau so visually rich. After private vows, we brought the couple up to the exterior of the event space for formal portraits. The venue’s grand stone architecture makes for a breathtaking and timeless backdrop in every wedding photo we take there. Ketubah Signing, Ceremony, and Cocktail Hour at Le Chateau

The Ketubah signing took place in the elegant ballroom, and it was a beautifully intimate moment before the ceremony. Then the ceremony itself took place in the ceremony space on a sunny late spring day. It was the kind of golden, soft light that Hudson Valley wedding photographers dream about for outdoor coverage. After the ceremony, cocktail hour opened inside the venue with wonderful spreads including pizza and sushi, which guests loved. Golden Hour and Meaningful Traditions to Close the Night

After the parent speeches, we slipped outside with Emily and Liron for golden hour portraits on the grounds. The warm golden light over the rolling hills created some of our very favorite wedding pictures at Le Chateau. Back inside, close friends and siblings each shared their own heartfelt words with the couple. The night wrapped up with the Mizinke dance honoring Emily’s parents, followed by a joyful and celebratory cake cutting. About Le Chateau in South Salem, Westchester

Le Chateau is a historic Golden Age mansion originally commissioned in 1907 and lovingly restored in 2016. The venue blends original stonework, grand staircases, and timeless architecture with modern luxury throughout.
