We're Beacon-based Hudson Valley & Catskills wedding + elopement photographers who love to capture natural, authentic moments for all couples in love.
As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, we love a celebration that blends nature and elegance. Meaghan and Justin gave us exactly that with their summer wedding at The Grandview. Their day paired a quiet private estate with a grand riverside ballroom. Furthermore, the entire celebration unfolded with warmth, joy, and easy laughter.

The morning began at Rhinebrook Estate, a private home in Hyde Park. Both sides of the wedding party could get ready together in one spot. Moreover, as a Beacon-based photography team, we always appreciate a relaxed start. The space gave everyone room to breathe before the excitement truly began.

Because Meaghan loves nature, the backyard field became the perfect first-look spot. We tucked the couple into the open grass for their first private moment. Justin turned, Meaghan smiled, and the emotion between them was immediate. Consequently, this gentle start set the tone for their wedding at The Grandview.

After the first look, we captured a few quiet portraits in the field. Then we headed toward their wedding at The Grandview in Poughkeepsie. This venue blends old-world charm with contemporary glamor throughout its spaces. Additionally, the high ceilings and chandeliers create a refined, elegant backdrop.

At that hour, we could only use the ceremony space for portraits. Therefore, we worked quickly with the skyline behind them at their wedding at The Grandview. We framed a few striking images before the Grandview ballroom welcomed guests. Soon after, we completed their family and wedding party photos with ease.

The outdoor ceremony began as the summer sun dropped lower in the sky. Meanwhile, guests settled into the private ceremony space beside the Hudson River. At a wedding at The Grandview, couples say vows beneath an elegant pergola. The light during this riverside moment was soft, warm, and absolutely beautiful.

Meaghan and Justin chose to share deeply personal vows with each other. Their words were heartfelt, and naturally a few happy tears appeared. As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, we truly live for these honest moments. Because of the riverside setting, every word felt even more meaningful.

After the ceremony, cocktail hour welcomed guests into the riverside cocktail room. A champagne wall greets arriving guests with a memorable summer welcome. Additionally, this part of their wedding at The Grandview offers panoramic river views. Meanwhile, Meaghan and Justin happily made rounds with all their loved ones.

At the end of cocktail hour, we pulled the couple toward the waterfront. As a result, golden hour portraits became the most beautiful images of the day. The warm summer light wrapped around them as the river glowed behind. These golden hour photos remain our favorites from their wedding at The Grandview.

The reception at their wedding at The Grandview began with lively introductions. Then Meaghan dragged Justin in by his ear, and every guest laughed. Afterward, their choreographed first dance to the Beach Boys brought pure joy. Parent dances followed, full of warmth and a few genuinely sweet tears.

Once the dancing kicked off, guests soon settled in for a relaxed dinner. The Grandview ballroom reception offers plenty of room for dining and celebration. Speeches came from the father of the bride and the maid of honor. Additionally, the two best men delivered a memorable and funny joint toast.

After the toasts ended, the dance floor stayed busy all night long. Consequently, the Grandview ballroom filled with music, movement, and constant laughter. Up-lighting, chandeliers, and french doors gave the room a dramatic evening glow. Meanwhile, this wedding at The Grandview kept everyone dancing until the very end.

Later, we pulled the couple for a quick champagne pop on the terrace. The bridge lights glowed beautifully behind them in the summer evening air. Their celebration also featured a delightful Venetian dessert bar for guests. Dramatically, the floor-to-ceiling curtains rose to reveal an abundance of sweets.

A wonderful team helped bring this wedding at The Grandview to life. First, Flowers by David Anthony created florals that suited the riverside setting. Then MSV Entertainment handled the DJ and photo booth with great energy. Ultimately, we are grateful to every vendor who made this summer day seamless.

As a Beacon-based photography team, we genuinely treasure days like this one. A wedding at The Grandview offers stunning light, river views, and elegance. Meaghan and Justin trusted us to document each meaningful moment carefully. Without a doubt, their summer celebration remains one of our favorites.

If you are planning an outdoor ceremony and ballroom reception, we understand the venue well. We know its golden hour light, its terrace, and its riverside charm intimately. As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, we love returning to this Poughkeepsie space. Ultimately, we would be honored to document your own celebration here.

Summer brings the longest, softest light to a wedding at The Grandview. Because of that, golden hour portraits here feel especially warm and glowing. As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, we plan around this beautiful evening window. Therefore, couples gain dreamy waterfront images without rushing their timeline.

We document each part of a wedding at The Grandview in a natural way. During the outdoor ceremony, we stay unobtrusive while capturing real emotion. Then the ballroom reception lets us play with dramatic light and movement. Above all, we want every image to feel honest and timeless.
