Julie and Naim celebrated their Green Building wedding with close family and friends. Although not everyone could make it due to travel restrictions, the couple livestreamed their whole celebration. It truly felt like their loved ones were in the room with them through their features, including a live speech from Naim’s sister who couldn’t make it.

The entire event was filled with rustic design and beautiful lighting. The couple couldn’t have asked for a better day! This Brooklyn wedding was seriously one for the books. The couple skipped out on a first look and got ready at separate locations, with Julie in the bridal suite at the Green Building wedding venue.

Naim, on the other hand, got ready for the big day at the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott. This spacious and affordable hotel is perfect for wedding preparation. Since we’re a wedding photo and video team, it’s fine for us to split up to get coverage of both the bride and groom’s room on days like these.

After they were ready, it was time for their Green Building wedding ceremony in Brooklyn. Julie and Naim said their vows against the lovely exposed brick walls in this renovated brass foundry. The high ceilings and lovely window light made for some additional gorgeous accents to their rustic NYC wedding photos.

As New York based wedding photographers, this is one of our favorite venues to capture. Green Building weddings are always a blast from getting ready to the dance floor.  With so much history inside, it’s hard not to fall in love with this Brooklyn wedding venue.

After their ceremony, Julie and Naim took photos with family and friends in the courtyard. They also did their portraits in the spaces at this Gowanus wedding venue. We also went out to the street for some additional photography coverage. There are so many versatile spaces to take wedding photos at this venue in the heart of Brooklyn.

Afterward, it was time for their wedding reception in Brooklyn. Julie and Naim decorated the space with amazing floral pieces that fit their color scheme perfectly. The dark green and mossy tones were the perfect backdrop for this couple. They kicked the evening off with a romantic cocktail hour in the courtyard.

One of the best things about this unique NYC event space is the combined indoor and outdoor space. Green Building weddings have the advantage of being versatile in any season.  Although the party was mostly indoors, Julie and Naim opened up the doors to let in some fresh air.

They also took full advantage of their cocktail hour space by decorating with flowers. The dark green tones looked great against the brick walls. Their flair for design really came out through the decor they chose at this Gowanus wedding venue.

After the sun went down, it was time for dinner. Julie and Naim opted to have both a plated meal in their Green Building wedding package. The food was delicious and people were saying how amazing the food was all night long!

They also kicked off the evening with Dabke dancing, a tradition that honored Naim’s heritage. The dance floor was absolutely tearing it up at this Brooklyn wedding. It was a total dream for us as New York wedding photographers to capture this lively and unique event. After they were all danced out, Julie and Naim refueled with snacks and dessert.
