Victoria and Jack got married at a Branford House wedding in Connecticut. It was a romantic day from start to finish, with every detail meticulously thought out by the couple. We were so impressed, from the first look at the Whaler’s Inn to their Mystic wedding photos. Plus, this Connecticut wedding venue was the stuff dreams are made of.
The Branford House wedding venue can accommodate up to 200 guests. Victoria and Jack had less than this, but it felt like a perfect party energy. The space itself has stunning ocean views, making for a perfect seaside wedding aesthetic in Connecticut. If you’re looking for waterfront Wedding Photos, look no further than this venue. Located on the University of Connecticut campus, you also have an intimate setting away from some of the busier parts of the state.
The day started at the Whaler’s Inn in Mystic, Connecticut. This lovely little town creates the perfect photo opportunities on your big day. The couple got ready and their respective rooms before doing a first look right outside of Victoria suite. We then took the wedding party and headed over to the docks for some photos, then to the downtown area. Victoria and Jack wanted a variety of locations with their wedding party. It was important to them not just to have the same photos over and over.
Although it was chilly outside, this group powered through. If you are planning a fall wedding in Connecticut, it’s important to note that you may have chilly weather. We were lucky that we still have fall foliage left on the trees to take beautiful can I get Connecticut wedding photos with. Before heading over to Branford House, we made sure to get as many photos in the Mystic area as possible. Then, we did family photos at the venue itself. It’s always a good idea to do family photography on your wedding day at the venue so everyone shows up on time. It keeps people in one place, making it easy to wrangle family members.
As Hudson Valley wedding photographers in Connecticut, we loved capturing this happy couple. They had previously experienced weather like this on their engagement photo shoot in Manhattan. When we took their engagement photos in Washington Square, Park, we were hit with a cold front but the couple powered through it. They took it as a training day for their actual wedding.
These two were all smiles and their hearts were warm despite the chilly winds. We got a perfect golden hour on the water, just in time to take a few more wedding portraits of the couple. As fun, candid wedding photographers, we don’t want to keep people out too long and uncomfortable weather. It’s important to get the shot as fast as possible.
This fall wedding in Connecticut took place indoors, but this venue also gives you the option of an outdoor ceremony during the warmer months. We loved Victoria and Jack’s beautiful set up for their Branford house wedding in Groton. There were candles and flowers adorning the space, making it an ultra romantic setting to tie the knot. As high school sweethearts, these two have seen it all together. Their ultra personal wedding ceremony included lovely vows from a couple, and a friend officiating who has known them for a long time.
This couple knew what they wanted from the beginning. After meeting in high school, Victoria and Jack have been together ever since. They were always meant to be together, and you can see that from their Branford House wedding photos. Branford House offers a variety of different sized spaces for weddings to accommodate your needs. There are large rooms off the foyer including the beautiful ballroom, as well as smaller intimate spaces like Branford’s Library perfect for smaller ceremonies or cocktail hour.
After all that celebration is over with it’s time to kick back and relax at the Branford House wedding reception. We love working with this venue because there are so many options available depending on how many guests you have. Branford House offers three different ballrooms, each with its own unique feel and look.
It’s also a fantastic space for your guests to enjoy hanging out during cocktail hour! Groton, Connecticut is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of New York City and Boston that it creates an intimate setting for your friends and family. For Beacon-based photographers shooting weddings in Branford house, we love that fact that you don’t have to travel hours into the city like you would if you were hosting an outdoor wedding in New York State.
The Branford House wedding venue is an intimate, elegant venue for an unforgettable celebration. It’s located on the Connecticut shoreline allowing guests to enjoy Groton’s beautiful coastal views. This event space gives you the option of getting married outdoors or indoors. One of the reasons these two chose Branford House as their wedding photography location because it’s both comfortable and romantic with its soft lighting indoor setting.
This venue has many options available to suit your big day needs whether you are inviting hundreds or several dozen people. Victoria and Jack had a beautiful Branford House wedding and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them.
