We're Beacon-based Hudson Valley & Catskills wedding + elopement photographers who love to capture natural, authentic moments for all couples in love.
Jackie and Troy celebrated their Red Barn Cidery wedding with an intimate circle of the people they love most. As photographers, we document everything from elopements to full wedding celebrations across the Northeast. This Congers, Rockland County day was among the most personal weddings we have ever had the honor of witnessing. Above all, Jackie and Troy poured their colorful, eclectic personalities into every single detail of the day.

Jackie got ready at their apartment, and the space felt like a perfect extension of who they are. We love photographing getting-ready moments because they reveal so much of a couple’s true character and spirit. The details Jackie surrounded herself with were colorful, thoughtful, and entirely one of a kind. Indeed, from the very first moments of the morning, we knew this would be a day unlike any other.

Meanwhile, Troy got ready at Jackie’s father’s place, which was conveniently located close to the venue. It rained throughout the entire day, and neither Jackie nor Troy was even slightly bothered by it. Notably, it had also rained during their elopement the year before, making this feel like a full circle moment. This Red Barn Cidery wedding was, therefore, perfectly in keeping with their love story from the very start.

Once Jackie was ready, we all made our way over to the venue to begin the day. As a Beacon-based photography team, we are always excited to work with genuinely beautiful natural settings. Jackie and Troy shared their first look by the barn before heading into the apple orchard. The trees were still holding onto their last blossoms, and the scene was absolutely breathtaking.

Jackie’s colorful dress stood out beautifully against the soft whites and pinks of the blossoms surrounding her. Furthermore, the overcast light from the rain gave every portrait a soft and luminous quality that we simply love. As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, we are always drawn to settings where personality and landscape meet naturally. This apple farm offered exactly that, and we treasured every single moment we spent among those trees.

After portraits, we gathered everyone under the spacious heated tent for family and group photos. The tent reception area was warmly arranged and served as a welcoming gathering space despite the steady rain outside. This cidery wedding featured a gorgeous tent that kept guests comfortable while preserving a beautiful outdoor feel. We always love family photo time because the love between people shines so clearly in every single frame.

As guests arrived, cocktail hour began and we had a truly wonderful time capturing candid portraits throughout. Instead of a traditional ceremony, Jackie and Troy chose to share group vows with all of their guests. This was one of the most touching moments of the entire Red Barn Cidery wedding celebration. They personally thanked each guest for being there, and the room was filled with warmth, laughter, and genuine emotion.

After the group vows, everyone moved to the buffet and settled into a relaxed and joyful dinner together. The meal was full of easy laughter that only comes from a truly close-knit group. Speeches from family members and close friends followed dinner, and each one was deeply personal and sincere. Moreover, it became abundantly clear to us just how loved Jackie and Troy are by everyone around them.

After the speeches, the dance floor came alive and the energy inside the tent was absolutely electric. However, for guests who preferred something quieter, card games and Jenga were set up and waiting nearby. Their guest book was a Lego board where every guest could build a miniature version of themselves. As a result, the evening felt like a true Red Barn Cidery wedding celebration of who they really are.

Red Barn Cidery is a family-run, family-friendly outdoor venue on a working apple farm in Congers, Rockland County. The farm offers hard ciders, local beer, wine, and frozen drinks alongside live music throughout the season. Additionally, guests can enjoy apple picking, hayrides, pumpkin picking, and a corn maze depending on the time of year. For a farm wedding or cidery wedding with genuine character, this is truly a one-of-a-kind destination.

The heated tent created a warm and inviting atmosphere that was perfectly suited to Jackie and Troy’s vision. We love photographing tent weddings because the warmth of the space always brings out the best in guests. This tent reception in Rockland County allowed everyone to feel at ease while surrounded by something genuinely beautiful. Consequently, every image from this Red Barn Cidery wedding carries a warmth that feels completely unique.
We are so grateful to every vendor who helped make this Red Barn Cidery wedding so special. Jackie’s stunning gown came from White Oak Bridal Tarrytown, a boutique that delivers for every style of bride. The couple arranged their own florals, adding a personal and creative touch throughout the entire day. Red Barn Cidery provided a stunning farm setting and a genuinely warm and welcoming team throughout.

As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, we are always moved by weddings that feel true to the couple. We feel so grateful whenever couples trust us with days this personal and this meaningful. If you are planning your own wedding, we would love to connect and learn all about your story.

Jackie and Troy’s Lego guest book perfectly summed up everything we love about documenting weddings like this. The details they chose told a story of two people who are deeply themselves and deeply in love. Rain, color, community, and creativity came together to make this one of our most memorable days of the year. We are so honored to have been trusted with such a personal and joyful occasion.
