Laughter-Filled Central Park Engagement Photography

Christine and Andrew’s Central Park engagement photo shoot was so much fun! Their laughter was infectious, and they were clearly having a blast together. We started the shoot near the Bethesda Fountain and walked around the park, taking advantage of all the beautiful scenery. The trees were in full bloom, making for some gorgeous greenery as a backdrop. As Brooklyn wedding photographers, we love to come to this iconic location in Manhattan.

Fun and Sweet Central Park Engagement Photo Shoot in NYC

These two started off at the pond and Gapstow Bridge. This area right off of 5th avenue is the perfect place to begin your engagement session in Central Park. It is one of the most popular places for couples to visit and has been featured in many movies. Plus, Gapstow Bridge has a beautiful view. With the city skyline in the background, it makes for a very romantic setting.

Bethesda Terrace Engagement Photos in Central Park

The next stop on their Central Park engagement shoot was the Mall. This quick tree-lined walkway is the perfect segue to go to take Bethesda Terrace engagement photos. Christine and Andrew strolled along arm in arm, taking in the sights and sounds of the city. The Mall is a great place for people watching and takes you right to the iconic Bethesda Terrace, which has an incredible view of Central Park Lake.

Iconic Engagement Photography at Bow Bridge

We then made our way over to Bow Bridge, one of the most popular places in Central Park for engagement photos. As New York engagement photographers, couples are always asking us to have a stop at this spot. The bridge spans over the lake and has amazing views in every direction. Plus, the architecture is just sheerly romantic.

When to Do Your Summer Central Park Engagement Photo Shoot

For couples who want to take summer engagement photos in New York, we highly recommend getting started early. Like, as early as the sunrise! This is because your Central Park engagement photo shoot won’t have any tourists in the background. Plus, the city gets super hot, so you’ll want to start early enough not to sweat.

Is Summer the Best Time for Engagement Photos in Central Park?

Summer is definitely a beautiful time for engagement photos in Central Park. However, starting early is important to avoid the hottest part of the day. That way, the weather is mild, and the trees are in bloom, providing a beautiful backdrop for your photos. Autumn and spring are also extremely popular times to do your Bethesda Terrace engagement photo session.
