Jenn and Efren had an intimate Vivo Bayside wedding, a cozy restaurant in Queens. Located near to the waterfront, these two celebrated their love story surrounded by close family and friends. This intimate wedding was one for the books, featuring stunning views of the bridge and water. We also loved the restaurant wedding venue’s lovely backyard wedding space for an intimate celebration.

These two got ready separately on the morning of the wedding day with their family and friends. Taking getting ready photos is a great chance for us to warm our couples up to the camera. As New York wedding photographers, it’s important to have our couples feel comfortable ahead of the wedding day itself. Efren and Jenn did great in front of the camera at the end of the day.

Once they were finished getting ready, it was time for the ceremony. These two passed up on a first look and instead wanted to take photos after the Vivo Bayside wedding ceremony. We’re always open to weddings who want to skip a first look because it’s important to the couple not to see each other until the moment. It’s totally dependent on each couple’s wants and needs.

Micro-Wedding Restaurant Venue in New York City

This Vivo Bayside wedding was so precious in the backyard. They got married under the weeping willows and other amazing trees decorating the backyard. Jenn and Efren said their vows and ‘I Do’ to each other in a touching moment full of love. The ceremony was in Spanish and full of sweet sentiments that tied into the couple’s religious ties.

After the ceremony, it was time for photos! We had an hour and a half to capture some great pictures of Jenn and Efren in their wedding outfits with their family and friends. There’s always some nerves for pictures when you’re on limited time but Jenn and Efren handled it like pros. We figured out some amazing shots despite the limitations at this Vivo Bayisde wedding reception.

Little Bay Park Wedding Photos in Bayside, Queens

The couple then went to take wedding photography portraits at Little Bay Park in Bayside. We were stunned by this sunset on the water with cotton candy colors. If you plan to get married at Vivo Bayside, this nearby park is the perfect spot for photos. Jenn and Efren went out onto the rocks for some intimate NYC wedding photos and a champagne pop.

Intimate Micro-Wedding Photos in Queens, New York

Following this we returned to Vivo Bayside for the couple’s wedding reception. Jenn and Efren hosted their loved ones upstairs in the restaurant for their New York micro-wedding. The night kicked off with a first dance between the couple. It was then followed by some emotional parent dances that brought the room to tears.

NYC Micro-Wedding Venue with Ballroom Vibes

Between courses, the DJ had the room up and dancing. This was the perfect break between the meals to keep everyone energized.  The dance floor was packed into the end of the night for this Vivo Bayside wedding. It was great for us to capture all these guests celebrating Jenn and Efren’s love!

Although there weren’t any speeches, there were still some lovely moments in the night. This Vivo Bayside wedding reception had colorful uplighting that made the room come to life. As well, their dessert spread was elaborate and kicked off with a silent cake cutting. Each and every moment for the couple was beyond special.
