Alisa and John’s Brooklyn Bridge Park engagement session was such a memorable day for us. As New York wedding photographers, we spend a lot of time in this area. That being said, these two had a totally standout session that we’ll remember for years to come.
Brooklyn Bridge Park Engagement Session in the Spring
This wonderful couple started the morning taking photos on the Brooklyn Bridge. We only do sunrise sessions on the bridge itself because of the heavy foot traffic. This is a great place to get warmed up for the DUMBO engagement photo session since it’s the hardest part of the day. It’s loud up there but the view of the bridge and the Manhattan skyline are just gorgeous up there at the crack of dawn.
Romantic Summer Engagement Pictures in DUMBO
After some time photographing Alisa and John’s love on the bridge itself, we made our way south to Washington Street. This spot has the iconic Instagram view of the Manhattan bridge. You can even see the empire state building through the arches of the bridge if you look out on a clear day.
Brooklyn Bridge Engagement Photography in New York
We all ventured through the neighborhood for the remainder of their Brooklyn Bridge Park engagement session. This area is right across from Brooklyn Heights so it’s filled with beautiful old historic brick buildings. The main stretch along the waterfront shows NYC skyline views with Lower Manhattan. You can see the Freedom Tower and more from this lovely spot in front of Jane’s Carousel.

Alisa and John made their Brooklyn Bridge Park engagement session even more fun with a champagne bottle pop. They were so brave and risked getting bubbly on their outfits. It was such a cool and casual element to add to their DUMBO engagement session.
