Sara and Ana were engaged in Brooklyn Bridge Park on a sunny evening in the city. When Sara reached out to us about her Pebble Beach proposal, we were too excited to capture the joy with this wonderful couple. The timing and light worked out perfectly with these two, and they had romantic golden hour proposal photography in New York.

DUMBO Proposal Photos at Pebble Beach

When Sara originally reached out, she had wanted to propose on the Brooklyn Bridge in the evening. We typically advise against proposals on the bridge because of foot traffic and bike traffic. After taking an evening walk onto the bridge herself, she decided against the idea as well. Instead, we came up with a few locations for Sara to consider proposing to Ana.

She came to the decision to have a Pebble Beach proposal in Brooklyn Bridge Park. This stunning area gives a perfect view of the New York City skyline. Plus, you can see the iconic Brooklyn Bridge as the backdrop to your engagement photos when you take them here. It’s an unobstructed view of Lower Manhattan that is truly jaw-dropping.

We don’t often photograph DUMBO proposals in the evening because the area is so busy. However, everything worked out perfectly for Sara and Ana’s beautiful LGBTQ+ proposal photography in NYC. Arriving ahead of time, we staked out the spot on Pebble Beach for a little while ahead of the moment itself.

Finally, Sara led Ana to the beach after taking a walk through DUMBO. A beautiful neighborhood filled with cobblestone streets and classic architecture, it’s worth taking a romantic stroll through this neighborhood. Plus, when you’re trying to work up the nerve to pop the question, it’s always good to take a walk.

Sara led Ana to the spot we were standing on the beach. With delighted bystanders, she had her Pebble Beach proposal on the stunning skyline. After Sara poured her heart out on this stony ground, Ana happily said yes. They hugged it out while onlookers cheered for the happy couple who just got engaged.

After the proposal, we took these two for a few engagement photos in the Brooklyn Bridge Park area. Since it was such a beautiful evening, the streets were quite busy. We got some lovely photos on Washington Street with the Manhattan Bridge as the backdrop. Additionally, we took some photos with the skyline and sunset.
