We then walked over to Pier 17 for some range in the shots. This beautiful area shows the Brooklyn skyline including the arches of the iconic bridge. We love this unique photo location in New York because you get such a diverse range of locations. You can walk from seaport south street to Pier 17 in just a few minutes.

With the South Street seaport being right on the water, you can, of course, do some awesome Manhattan Bridge shots. We have to mention, though, of all the locations we’ve shot at south street seaport so far… there is no better view than from Pier 17. You actually get a pretty awesome view of Brooklyn as well if you head up to the rooftop.

Finally, there was a super unique fall pumpkin and gourd archway for the couple to take photos with. This unique touch is a seasonal addition to Pier 17’s landscape. It may not be there for your fall South Street Seaport engagement photos, but it’s worth a shot. This made for some warm, fun photos to round out their session.
