Overcast days can make for a beautiful photo session. We embraced the cloudy weather with Chris & Elisabeth’s Brooklyn Bridge Park couples session. These two were commemorating their anniversary with some beautiful photos to mark the event. We love Brooklyn Bridge Park and hopped on the opportunity to shoot in such a beautiful spot.

Couples Photography in Brooklyn Bridge Park

This photo location in Dumbo is a fantastic place to mosey around and take in some fresh air. We walked with Chris & Elisabeth through the park and got to know them and hear their story. These two kept a sunny demeanor, even if the sun never came out. Elisabeth wore her Badgley Mischka wedding shoes which sparkled beautifully, even on a cloudy day.

Couples Session in Dumbo, Brooklyn

Of course we had to try to get the iconic Dumbo shot with the Manhattan bridge in the background. Looking for where that is? We’ve got the details here. The street was absolutely packed that day, to the point where a couple of photographers had set off smoke bombs! We managed to get a few shots in before we opted for the less crowded side streets of Dumbo.

We were so thrilled to shoot another beautiful session in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Brooklyn Bridge Park truly offers such a variety of photo locations, and makes shooting there super flexible. If one spot’s not working, there are plenty of options to choose from. We can only hope to see Chris & Elisabeth next year to celebrate another anniversary!
