Kelly and Ben had gorgeous Greenpoint Loft wedding photos on a cloudy summer day. With a stop in Transmitter Park for some romantic Brooklyn couples portraits, the couple had an incredibly memorable day. As New York wedding photographers, we love seeing how couples transform this incredible event venue in the city. Modern Rebel did a beautiful job coordinating the festivities.
Elegant and Candid Greenpoint Loft Wedding Photos
The bride wore a simple, fitted white gown with a cascading bouquet of white florals to match. The groom donned a navy suit with a neutral tie. The color palette was carried throughout the decor, from the invitations to the table numbers. We are obsessed with the other personal details of the day like the neon sign with their last name.
Where to Take Wedding Photos in Williamsburg and Greenpoint
If you are considering a Greenpoint Loft wedding, we highly recommend it! There are so many amazing places to take wedding photos in the area. We especially love Transmitter Park and McCarren Park for couples portraits. There’s also Bushwick Inlet Park and Domino Park that make for great portrait spots. As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, we can make anything work. Plus, this venue has an amazing Manhattan skyline view.
Should You Only Do Wedding Photos at Your NYC Venue?
It totally depends! We love when couples venture out for some wedding photos around the city. It makes for a more dynamic set of wedding photos. We’ve even done impromptu portraits in the middle of Times Square and Central Park. However, if you’re not down for that, we totally get it. Your Greenpoint Loft wedding photos will still be amazing without leaving the venue.
What Time of Year is Best for Greenpoint Loft Wedding Photos?
The best time of year for Greenpoint Loft wedding photos is definitely spring or fall. The temps are more moderate and the light is lovely. However, we’ve shot Greenpoint Loft weddings in the middle of summer and winter and they were still stunning. If you’re up for braving the cold, we say go for it! You can get amazing portraits at any time of year.
How Long Should You Do Wedding Photos For?
We typically recommend doing wedding photos for about 1-2 hours. This gives us enough time to get a good variety of portraits without making you too uncomfortable. We also use that time for your family and wedding party photos. As experienced New York wedding photographers, we know how important budgeting your time for photos is.
Should You Do a First Look for Your New York wedding photography?
A first look is definitely not required but we always recommend them! We find that couples who do a first look are much more relaxed for the rest of the day. They also tend to get more wedding photos overall. If you’re on the fence about it, we say go for it. For Kelly and Ben’s Greenpoint Loft wedding photos, their first look took place at the Box House Hotel where they got ready.
