From the moment we started chatting with Mia and Alberto, we loved their vision for their Manhattan wedding day. They wanted to capture some iconic moments in the big apple. Dressing to the nines, they totally pulled it off. We’ve loved capturing memories in their relationship. They started with an engagement session in Brooklyn Bridge Park, a perfect way to get to know each other ahead of time. By the time we got to the wedding day, they were so confident in posing for the camera.

We started off the day by getting ready with Mia and Alberto. They also had their adorable poodle dressed up in a tux for the occasion. We love when people have their dogs on wedding days. It’s so cute to add your furry friend into the mix like this!

Mia had laid out all of her wedding day details on a table. We love taking photos of details like accessories, rings, shoes, and invitations. It sets the scene for your New York wedding, and highlights the hours of work you’ve put into the planning. It’s important even for intimate weddings to share details with us at the beginning of the day.

Spring Wedding Photos at City Hall Park in NYC

These two shared a first look at City Hall Park, right down the street from the Beekman Hotel wedding venue. Their wedding planner, Intimate Occasions by Ikiya, helped organize the moment so that these two wouldn’t run into each other. We were so lucky that there were spring blossoms for their wedding photos.

Stunning Manhattan Wedding Photos in Downtown Area

Downtown Manhattan has lots of beautiful wedding photography locations. With the tall iconic architecture in the area, the Beekman Hotel wedding venue is located in a perfect area. We walked around the streets taking iconic NYC wedding photos. As Brooklyn wedding photographers, we love crossing the Brooklyn Bridge and heading into this neighborhood for images.

Beekman Hotel Wedding Ceremony and Reception

After some photos outside, we returned to the Beekman Hotel’s stunning indoor and outdoor locations. This is one of those event spaces that is so versatile and wonderful. They chose to have their ceremony in the wisteria room on the top floor, but we were able to take beautiful photographs elsewhere as well.

Mia and Alberto’s intimate Beekman Hotel wedding was a joyous ceremony under a canopy of wisteria. Temple Court weddings like these are perfect for a small guest list and indoor location, no matter the time of year. Even if it’s a little chilly outside, this event space is well insulated. It also has lots of natural light spilling in for your wedding at the Temple Court in the Beekman.

After the ceremony, we took some champagne popping photos on the rooftop. These two were such a joy with this fun activity. Some of our favorite aspects of this area also include the brick walls and skyline views you can get from the various Beekman Hotel wedding areas.

The couple shared a first dance in the wisteria room at Temple Court. We found the hanging flowers to be an enchanting addition to their New York wedding photos. It almost felt like we weren’t in Downtown Manhattan while we were in the room like this. Of all the wedding venues in New York, we love the unique qualities and versatility of the Beekman Hotel’s wedding event spaces.

Mia and Alberto celebrated with a wedding reception at the restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. It was a lovely place to gather with family and friends, and also to eat exquisite food. We captured a few photos of everyone gathered and having a beautiful time. It was a stunning ending to this romantic and iconic New York wedding.
