Stephanie and Marselys had a goregous Normandy Farm wedding in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. With tons of sweet details, this unseasonably warm winter wedding was one to remember. We absolutely loved capturing this romantic celebration as Brooklyn wedding photographers. This venue was totally unique and like no other experience we’ve had.
The historic Normandy Farm Hotel is a two-hour drive from New York and Philadelphia, but it has everything you need for your perfect wedding. With beautiful surroundings that will enchant all guests with their magical charm— this PA wedding venue offers an unbeatable experience no matter what the occasion. Featuring picturesque surroundings and rustic charm, the Normandy Farm Hotel is a unique wedding venue that provides everything couples need to create their perfect day. This historic hotel offers unparalleled views of rolling woodlands and gorgeous barn structures for your fun and candid wedding photography.
The elegant property in Normandy Farm dates back over two centuries, to when it was first built. The historic stables and barns provide an unforgettable setting for your wedding with their uniquely authentic charm that will last forever into the future! Everything has been lovingly restored so you feel right at home from start to finish. Accommodating up to 350 people, you have multiple options for where to get married on this beautiful property.
Marselys and Stephanie got ready on the property which made for a very convenient schedule. We love when everything happens in one place on a wedding day. It makes things smoother in case things run long in the suites, or during family photos. The getting ready photos were so romantic and fun, with tons of detail shots. Stephanie’s dress was exquisite, and Marselys’ suit was totally perfect for this winter Normandy Farm wedding.
The first look took place outside of one of the scenic barns on the property. These two made it a ton of fun, and their gesture upon the first look was very sweet. Stephanie walked up behind Marselys and gently touched his hands, something we don’t see many couples do. This led into their romantic portrait session at their Normandy Farm wedding in PA.
One of the best decisions Stephanie and Marselys made was to do their family photos before the ceremony. This allowed plenty of time afterwards for guests to enjoy cocktails and appetizers on the property! Doing this also gave us plenty of time for creative portraits of just the two of them prior to the celebrations. After all, with the farm-to-table menu at their Normandy Farm wedding, who would want to miss that cocktail hour?
The ceremony took place in the expansive indoor barn on the property. Marselys and Stephanie wrote their own vows, which made for a very personal and touching ceremony. The barn is decorated with simple white florals and greenery, which lets the beauty of the space speak for itself.
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the reception hall. This space was also decorated with simple florals and greenery, but in a totally different style than the barn ceremony. Marselys and Stephanie wanted two completely different spaces, so that their guests could have two totally unique experiences. The dance floor was packed all night, and everyone had a blast! If there’s one thing we learned at this Normandy Farm wedding, it’s that this crowd can dance.
There are so many things to love when you tie the knot at the Normandy Farm Hotel. If you’re looking for a unique and historic wedding venue, this is the perfect place for you! With rolling hills and rustic charm, your guests will be enchanted by the natural beauty of this property. As New York wedding photographers, we love getting out of the city for gorgeous venues like this one.
Ann Marie at Simply Styled Events (also, maid of honor!) did an absolutely incredible job at bringing this wedding together. Florals done by Willow and Thistle adorned the space, while DJ Marky G had the dance floor lit up. True Beauty Marks ensured the bride looked flawless all day long, and Jonathan Harmon officiated the intimate ceremony.
Stephanie and Marselys’ wedding was total joy from start to finish, and we were so happy to be a part of it. Our goal as Brooklyn wedding photographers is always to capture the emotions of the day in a candid and comfortable way. We love when our couples are laughing and having fun, and that was definitely the vibe at this Normandy Farm wedding. Thanks for letting us be a part of your big day, Stephanie and Marselys.
