Maya and Joey tied the knot in an intimate Central Park elopement on a snowy day in the city. We were so happy to capture the end of this snowy season with a beautiful elopement on a warm day. There was enough snow to keep the pond looking bright and beautiful, but it was warm enough for the couple to feel comfortable at their Central Park wedding.
Central Park Wedding Photography on a Winter Day
As New York wedding photographers, capturing intimate elopements like these is always so much fun. Central Park has a ton of different locations to get married and we’re always happy to suggest something. Initially, Maya and Joey had intended to have a Ladies Pavilion in Central Park elopement, but they were interrupted by outside forces. They ended up tying the knot at a nearby spot to the area with a lovely lake view.
Lincoln Center Elopement Photos in New York
We started the day off by the Lincoln Center where the relationship began for these two. Although photos are not allowed on the premises, we managed to get some with the Lincoln Center as the backdrop. It was the perfect way to start illustrating their romantic Central Park wedding photography session.

After that, we all headed over to the park for their elopement. This special moment was witnessed by close family and friends who met us at the park. Before going to the site of their Central Park wedding, we went to Bethesda Terrace for some romantic wedding photos. There are so many spots in the park for wedding photos.

You can also make the decision based on what is most important to you as a couple.

Maya and Joey then had their New York wedding photos taken by the water. With less than 20 people, this ceremony location was perfect for their intimate celebration. As New York wedding photographers, we love a classic micro-wedding in this special place. Central Park weddings are truly always wonderful to capture.
Snowy Central Park Wedding Photography
These two were married in Central Park on a sunny weekday in the big apple. With an immensely personal ceremony, they even had a special tradition of their own. Each of them took a bite of a key lime donut in their ceremony to celebrate their unity. We loved this nod to their own relationship and how they made their ceremony truly one-of-a-kind.
Tie the Knot in the Most Iconic Place in New York
After the ceremony, they signed their marriage license together. We then took some family photos with the group who gathered for their New York elopement. It was a super simple and sweet day that made for some amazing photos in New York City. They also opted for a video highlight reel in their elopement package, making for even more special coverage of their day.

As a New York photo and video team capturing weddings in the city, we love offering videos even for small weddings. If you’re on the fence on whether or not your Central Park wedding needs video coverage, it’s worth it to take a peek at Maya and Joey’s beautiful wedding video. It almost felt like a photo shoot instead of a wedding day because everything went so perfectly.
