Diana and Ryan’s High Line engagement shoot was so much fun! The couple had a great time strolling along the sunny summer day, enjoying the views of New York City. They were absolutely adorable together, and we are so happy to have been able to capture their love! As New York engagement photographers, we think this is one of the most underrated spots.

You may be wondering… why take your engagement photos in New York at this spot? The answer is simple – the High Line is one of the most romantic places in Manhattan! With its incredible views of the cityscape, it’s the perfect place to declare your love for one another. Plus, it’s a great way to show off your personality as a couple. Are you city-dwellers? Do you love spending time outdoors? Your High Line engagement shoot will reflect that!
Additionally, the High Line is a great place for an engagement shoot because it’s so unique. There aren’t many other places like it in the world, which makes it all the more special. When you look back on your photos years from now, you’ll be transported back to this moment in time, and that’s something truly priceless.
If you live in the West Village or Chelsea, then the High Line is probably already a place that’s near and dear to your heart. What better way to commemorate your engagement than with a shoot in this iconic NYC spot? You’ll be able to look back on your photos and recall all the amazing memories you have of this special place.

The best time to take your engagement photos on the High Line is during the spring or summer months. The weather is perfect, and the flowers are in bloom, making for a truly romantic setting. However, if you’re planning on doing a shoot during the fall or winter, that can be just as beautiful! The city looks stunning covered in snow, and you’ll definitely stand out in your photos.
The best time of day for a High Line engagement shoot is in the early early morning, right at opening. This location doesn’t open until 7:00AM, so you’ll want to make sure you get there right when it opens in order to avoid the crowds. The light is also perfect at this time, and you’ll be able to capture some truly stunning shots of the cityscape.

Now that you know all the ins and outs of a High Line engagement shoot, it’s time to start planning! Here are a few tips to help you get started:
