How to Dress for Your Family Photo Session

We always recommend dressing in coordinating colors instead of matching outfits. This will create a more cohesive look in your photos. As experienced Hudson Valley family photographers, here are a few tips for dressing your family for their photo session:

Dress in layers. This will help you stay comfortable during your session, no matter what the temperature is. It will also give you a number of looks for your Brooklyn family photo session.

Avoid jeans and solid black ensembles as these can be difficult to photograph for a variety of reasons. It is suggested that you choose outfits that allow for more versatility in printing and editing than those two choices mentioned above.
