When booking and engagement photo shoot in Brooklyn Bridge Park for the fall, you might be expecting some foliage. However, this park is mostly made up of the waterfront and brick architecture. It doesn’t lend itself to many photos with autumn colors. However, that doesn’t mean it’s not a great location for your pre-wedding shoot in the fall.
One spot in Brooklyn Bridge Park with fall foliage is the max family garden. Located right next to time out market and Saint Ann’s warehouse, this area features, a small section of trees and greenery that change colors for the autumn this is a great way to get the architecture of New York City in your engagement shoot and end with some lovely fall colors.

When looking for fall engagement photos in New York City, you may also want to consider a few different spots. First fall, Central Park is very popular. An alternative is Prospect Park, which is typically less crowded with tourists. You’ll find gorgeous colors throughout this park and it is quite expensive. You also can have the option of the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, which features lots of trees, and Manhattan skyline views.
Regardless of the foliage, you’ll get great fall engagement photos in DUMBO. Washington Street has a gorgeous view of the Manhattan Bridge which makes for a perfect backdrop. Plus, the overcast weather of the season will give you some nice even lighting.
