Lindsey and Daniel had a beautiful Central Park elopement by the lake in the heart of Manhattan. As NYC elopement photographers, we love when couples tie the knot in this vast park. We were lucky enough to collaborate with our associate, G from Mutual Friends. Karla at Once Upon a Vow made for the perfect wedding officiant for this fun, casual celebration.
Summer Central Park Elopement at the Lakes Viewing Area
When it comes to Central Park elopement packages, there are so many options for places to tie the knot. Daniel and Lindsey chose this fairly private area, just beyond Bow Bridge. The bride and groom wore outfits that were so cute, and also comfortable for the walk. This secluded spot features the El Dorado building as the backdrop. It’s the perfect mix of city and nature.
Elopement Photography Packages in New York City
There are tons of other great ceremony locations in Manhattan’s premier park. In addition to this spot, you can tie the knot by Gapstow Bridge at the south east entrance. If you go early in the morning, you’ll beat the crowds in the area. There’s also Ladies Pavilion, Wagner Cove, and Cop Cot. Those spots are all popular for New York elopement photography.
Romantic Micro-Weddings and Elopements
Bethesda Terrace also provides a beautiful backdrop for your nuptials. If you go early enough in the morning, you’ll have an empty spot… and maybe see some dogs! As New York City elopement photographers, we love to help couples choose their Central Park wedding ceremony location. You’ll just want to make sure to secure a wedding officiant and a marriage license at city hall.

Cozy Wedding Photo Shoot with Brooklyn Wedding Photographers
After Lindsey and Daniel said their vows, it was time to do their elopement photo shoot in New York City. We took them around the park to iconic spots for pictures. Bethesda Terrace was the first stop, just over the bridge from Cherry Hill. The Bethesda arcade has ornate architecture that makes for a great backdrop. Next, we went to the Mall, a tree canopy featured in iconic movies and TV shows.
Beautiful Central Park Elopement Photography Packages
We ended their Central Park elopement photos by Gapstow Bridge. This is one of the best spots to get both the cityscape of Manhattan and some nature.
