Ann and Bryan came out to take Brooklyn Bridge Park engagement photos on a beautiful summer morning. These two are a fun and creative couple who love spending time outdoors and are always up for an adventure. They were totally game for anything we had to ask, and we had a great time doing engagement photography in DUMBO.
Brooklyn Bridge Park Engagement Photos in the Summer
We started the morning on the Brooklyn Bridge. It’s great to come up here as early in the morning as possible. Once the sun gets to be overhead, it can get pretty hot and uncomfortable. The morning light is also incredibly soft and beautiful.
Where to Take Engagement Photos in Brooklyn
We then headed over to take Brooklyn Bridge park engagement photos on the waterfront. This spot is a great place to get an engagement photo in Brooklyn. It’s right next to the DUMBO waterfront, and always has lots of interesting things happening throughout the day.
Gorgeous Brooklyn Engagement Photography in DUMBO
Brooklyn Bridge Park engagement photos are one of the most popular requests we get. This is because the park is so versatile. There are so many different locations to choose from, and each one has its own unique charm. Ann and Bryan explored a few different spots in the park, including Washington Street and the pavilion near Jane’s Carousel. We even went down to explore the waterfront.
Get Comfortable with Beacon & Hudson Valley engagement photographers
Ann and Bryan were total naturals in front of the camera; totally aligning with our philosophy that good photography comes from people who are themselves. No forced poses and awkwardness, just two people in love and funny together. I think we succeeded in capturing a number of really great Brooklyn engagement photos that will stand the test of time.
Early Morning Engagement Photos with Top NYC Photographers
Doing Brooklyn Bridge Park engagement photos early in the day is great for a few reasons. First off, the sun is soft and beautiful making for Brooklyn engagement photos that are both flattering and interesting. Secondly, there aren’t a ton of tourists yet! Lots of people come to the park with their dogs in the morning though, so be prepared for some cuteness if you go early enough!
Engagement Photography on Washington Street in Brooklyn
Washington Street is one of the most popular photo locations in NYC. Our couples love to be captured there because of the iconic Manhattan Bridge view. It is a one-of-a-kind street that plenty of tourists head to. That’s why early morning engagement sessions in DUMBO are always a good idea.
Should You Take Summer Engagement Photos in Brooklyn Bridge Park?
Brooklyn Bridge Park spots are always extra fun in the summertime! The trees are green and lush, the sun is bright but soft, and there are always lots of people around to fill up the background. We love Brooklyn Bridge Park as a location for engagement photos! It’s the perfect place to capture a true New York feel. There are always people here going about their day, and it feels like a very fun and busy place.
What Brooklyn Engagement Photos Should You Take?
We recommend that you get the iconic shots of your Brooklyn Bridge Park engagement photos at least once. More than likely, this will be where your guests are most interested in heading for images of you two.
