Laura and Jimmy tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at their Ravel Hotel wedding. Surrounded by their family and friends, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows. This was one of the wildest weddings of the year, with our couple’s original venue having backed out 24 hours before the big day. Talk about a wild time! The Ravel Hotel event staff stepped in and saved the day, with the couple moving their celebration to this beautiful venue.

The couple got ready at a Williamsburg hotel in separate rooms. With lots of loved ones joining them in their suites, it was a festive and fun atmosphere. We did some great photos with Laura and her bridesmaids on the bed, and Jimmy and his groomsmen having a cheers.

Romantic First Look with Tears and Joy

These two did their first look just outside before heading to their Ravel Hotel wedding. Laura looked stunning in her gown, and Jimmy couldn’t take his eyes off of her. They let out some tears of joy and release after the wild 24 hours they had just had. The couple shared a sweet moment and then headed over to the hotel.

We then took their couples portraits on the roof of the Ravel Hotel wedding venue. This is a lovely and versatile space, with lots of options to take pictures. We love the eye clinic view of the Manhattan skyline that you can get from the ravel hotel roof. It makes for some perfect photos on your big day. Plus, the staff are super helpful and make sure that you can get to the floors I need to get to. For a winter wedding, we think we had a warm enough day to take outdoor couples photos.

Laura and Jimmy were so surprised when they got to see the venue. They had to actually never been there prior to their wedding day. Because of the chaos that had ensued, they went with the venue that was available for them. Thankfully it turned out to be the gorgeous Ravel Hotel. Their florist adjusted the florals to ensure that they fit beautifully into the space. The ballroom at the rebel hotel is a great place to get married because it is spacious and provides a lot of light. Even at night, the white floors and ceilings allow for lots of light to travel throughout the space.

As New York wedding photographers, the Ravel Hotel wedding spot is one of our favorite event spaces. The staff are so on point and everything run smoothly for our couples. We are so lucky to have captured this gorgeous wedding day. Laura and Jimmy could not be nicer as a couple, and their family and friends were equally awesome.

It makes for a really elegant feel, which is perfect for a cocktail hour. The guests were able to enjoy some light bites and drinks before heading into the ballroom for dinner.
