We're Beacon-based Hudson Valley & Catskills wedding + elopement photographers who love to capture natural, authentic moments for all couples in love.
Kenny and Sora chose Arrow Park in Monroe, NY for their late spring wedding, and the setting was spectacular. This beloved historic estate sits inside Sterling Forest with stunning natural surroundings on all sides. We are Hudson Valley wedding photographers, and venues as special as this one truly inspire us. You can explore our full wedding photography services to see how we approach each celebration we document.

The day started with both Kenny and Sora getting ready in separate rooms of the grand estate house. Sora spent the morning surrounded by her bridesmaids in the best possible way. The energy in the room was warm, joyful, and full of genuine laughter from the very start. We jumped in early for playful pajama shots on the bed before she got dressed.

Before seeing Kenny, Sora shared a tender moment with both of her parents. She presented her mother with a bracelet from Indigo Lune as a heartfelt gift on her wedding day. Moments like these carry so much quiet emotion and are always worth photographing. The personal touches throughout this wedding at Arrow Park made every frame feel meaningful.

Then it was time for the first look on the back stairs of the estate house. Sora approached Kenny quietly, then gave him a playful little smack on the bum. Everyone watching burst into laughter, and it was the most perfect, joyful start to their portraits. We then walked them along the oak-lined road for portraits that felt cinematic and true.

Next, we moved to the beach for portraits with the lake and Sterling Forest as the backdrop. The soft late-spring light gave the images a lush, dreamy quality we love as Hudson Valley wedding photographers. The waterfall-fed lake at Arrow Park has a quiet, almost painterly quality that elevates every portrait we take there. It is genuinely one of our favorite spots in all of the Hudson Valley for couples work.
After the beach, we gathered the wedding party outside the mansion for group photos in the cool, comfortable shade. The 1909 Italianate Mansion provides a stunning architectural backdrop that truly needs no extra styling or decoration. Its grand facade perched above the surrounding landscape gives group photos a natural sense of occasion and elegance. We always appreciate venues that make this part of the day feel easy, beautiful, and completely stress-free.

The ceremony took place on the lawn with the lake-facing side of the property as the backdrop. The ceremony garden at Arrow Park is open and lush, surrounded by the natural beauty of Sterling Forest. As a Beacon-based photography team, we move constantly to capture both the couple and their guests. The result was a set of ceremony images that felt alive, emotional, and full of real feeling.

After the ceremony, guests moved upstairs into the mansion for cocktail hour. The mansion at Arrow Park has dramatic forest views and large common rooms that feel like a true retreat. Then the reception moved to the courtyard, where the couple was introduced and shared their first dance. The energy in the courtyard was electric from the very first song of the night.

A short dance set was followed by a sit-down dinner and heartfelt speeches from loved ones. One touching moment came when the couple surprised Kenny’s parents with a small anniversary cake. It was a beautifully thoughtful nod to the family that helped shape their story together. After dinner, fun pop music took over and guests danced the rest of the night away.

Guests loved rotating between the photo booth and the dance floor all evening long. The DJ kept the energy high throughout the night, and the celebrations never slowed down for a single moment. We document these joyful moments as carefully as formal portraits because they tell the full story of a day. The courtyard at Arrow Park seats up to 175 guests, making it perfect for full receptions like this one.

We are so grateful for the talented team that made this wedding at Arrow Park so special. Venue was Arrow Park, catering by Love & Rosemary, and florals by SBB Blooms. Beauty came from The Effortless Bride and Effortless Beauty by Maggie, entertainment by Much Music DJ. Sora wore Designer Loft Bridal, Wedding Veils Atelier, Bella Belle Shoes, and Wander and Lust Jewelry. Kenny wore Al Bespoke and Allen Edmonds, rings from Queen & Co, ring box from The Heirloom Wedding. Paper goods came from Dearest Detail and Blush Paper Co.

The 1909 Italianate Mansion at Arrow Park overlooks a waterfall-fed lake inside Sterling Forest. It is just one hour from Manhattan, making it an ideal escape for couples in the region. With 12 onsite rooms sleeping up to 28 guests, it is built for full multi-day wedding celebrations. Arrow Park never does cookie-cutter events, and every couple we have photographed there has had a truly unique day.
