We took getting ready photos in their respective rooms in the barn itself. Cristman Barn features rustic and spacious rooms, and offers the ability for couples to get ready separately. We also took photos of Cait’s wedding dress hanging in the main stairway, making for some beautiful and dramatic photos.

After these two were ready for the big day, it was time for the first look. As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, it’s always nice to capture first look photos. Although we took family photos by the spring fed pond after the ceremony, they still saved so much time in their schedule.

After the ultra personal ceremony at Chelsea and Cait’s Cristman Barn wedding, it was time to party. We got the family photos done quickly and easily with a detailed shot list provided by the couple. We took a few more portraits before heading right into the party. They hosted an amazing cocktail hour with appetizers and drinks by Feast and Festivities by O’Connors.

Chelsea and Cait then shared a romantic first dance on the deck. Following that came a dance from Chelsea and her dad before the group convened inside for dinner. They had speeches from the best man and maid of honor, making the night even more intimate and personal at their Cristman Barn celebration.

Finally came the dance floor opening for this crew to have a ton of fun. It was great to watch their loved ones let loose and have an amazing time. The couple used the outside deck as the dance floor, and the DJ set up outside was perfect. With entertainment by DJ Bobby Kane, they had an incredible time including the limbo and tons of fun dancing.
