We're Beacon-based Hudson Valley & Catskills wedding + elopement photographers who love to capture natural, authentic moments for all couples in love.
Some love stories are best told in small, intentional gatherings with only the people who matter most. Mike and Jo knew exactly this, and they planned a beautiful intimate wedding that felt entirely their own. For couples searching for a truly special venue, a Westchester event like this offers an unforgettable blend of intimacy and natural beauty. We are Hudson Valley wedding photographers who believe deeply in the power of intimate, meaningful celebrations. Their Harvest on Hudson micro-wedding was a joyful, emotional, and truly unforgettable spring day.

Harvest on Hudson is a stunning venue for weddings and events in Westchester County and the greater Hudson Valley. The main restaurant is a turn-of-the-century converted warehouse with soaring 30-foot ceilings and a beautiful stone fireplace. Furthermore, the venue features a separate small wedding event space with glass walls and glass ceilings. This greenhouse-style room is filled with natural light and creates a dreamy, intimate atmosphere for small celebrations.

Mike and Jo began their Harvest on Hudson wedding with a first look inside the gorgeous glass event space. The soft spring light filtered through the walls and bathed the room in a warm, romantic glow. This intimate moment between them was emotional, genuine, and a true joy to witness and photograph. Certainly, it was the most natural way to begin such a meaningful micro-wedding celebration together.

After the first look, we stepped outside together onto the lawn at MacEachron Waterfront Park. This park sits directly behind the venue and offers wide, breathtaking views of the Hudson River. The hazy, misty atmosphere of the rainy spring day gave every portrait a soft and thoroughly dreamy quality. As a Beacon-based photography team, we truly love the moody, atmospheric light that overcast spring days provide.

We guided Mike and Jo through the waterfront lawn for their intimate wedding portrait session. The mist over the river and the Palisades in the distance created a naturally romantic and cinematic backdrop. This particular Harvest on Hudson wedding setting required very little direction from us at all. Above all, the genuine connection between this couple made every single photograph feel completely effortless and real.

The ceremony took place outside, just under the pergola beside the beautiful glass event space. Even with the on-and-off spring rain, the setting felt cozy, warm, and deeply romantic. Mike and Jo exchanged their vows in front of their small wedding guest list, surrounded by so much love. As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, we know that intimate ceremonies always carry the most powerful and authentic emotional energy.

After the ceremony, Mike and Jo exited through a cheerful cloud of bubbles blown by their guests. Shortly after, the clouds parted and the evening sun arrived with a warm and glowing golden light. The intimate celebration that had felt so beautifully cozy inside now glowed under the open evening sky. We brought the couple back toward the river for what would become an extraordinary golden hour portrait session.

The warm evening light transformed the entire waterfront into a glowing, golden backdrop for Mike and Jo. We photographed them along the Hudson River as the sun dipped lower and lower in the sky. Their connection and the gorgeous light made every single frame feel effortless and full of real joy. In fact, these portraits are some of our absolute favorites from this entire Harvest on Hudson wedding.

Beautifully, the reception began with a heartfelt first dance inside the glass greenhouse event space. The warm indoor light and the Hudson River backdrop made for truly magical and emotional photographs. After the first dance, we moved quickly through family portraits before the seated dinner was served. This micro-wedding wrapped up with warm and heartfelt speeches from loved ones that left the whole room emotional.

Every beautiful detail of this Harvest on Hudson wedding was elevated by a talented group of local vendors. Harvest on Hudson provided a stunning venue and an exceptional Italian dining experience for every single guest. Austin Charnis played live guitar throughout the celebration, adding warmth and undeniable romance to every moment of the day. Additionally, gorgeous florals were designed by Raven Rose Beacon, bringing natural beauty to every corner of the celebration.
The stunning wedding cake was crafted by By the Way Bakery and was as gorgeous as it was delicious. Moreover, each vendor shared a commitment to quality that made the entire day feel effortless and completely special. Together, they helped create a small wedding that Mike and Jo will carry in their hearts forever. We are genuinely grateful to work alongside talented local vendors who bring such care and dedication to their craft.
Harvest on Hudson is also celebrated for its exceptional dedication to Italian cuisine from all regions and time periods. The food is sourced locally, prepared with deep respect and care, and rooted in truly treasured family recipes. Furthermore, the beautifully landscaped grounds offer a vegetable garden, herb garden, and breathtaking views of the Hudson River. It is truly one of the most special small wedding venues we have had the pleasure of photographing.

As a Beacon-based photography team, we are naturally drawn to the quiet and enduring beauty of intimate celebrations. A micro-wedding allows every moment to feel wonderfully intentional, unhurried, and deeply personal for everyone present. Therefore, every laugh, every tear, and every meaningful glance becomes a photograph worth holding onto for an entire lifetime. Harvest on Hudson wedding days like Mike and Jo’s remind us precisely why we chose this path.
