We came up to the Upper West Side for some Central Park engagement photography with Natalie & Robb. These two were a little nervous to get their photo taken, but they quickly eased into the flow of their New York engagement photography. As we blogged about with their wedding, these two didn’t even expect to have photography at their Bat Haus wedding in Brooklyn. We’re SO glad they did, because when we did their engagement photography, it was an immediate click.
Central Park Engagement Photography in the Summertime
Funny enough, before we even got to the session, we ran into these two on the subway. We were a few stops away and we’d all been running a little late. They got onto our exact car, at the exact doors we were already at. It was so wild! We knew from there that something wonderful was afoot. Can you imagine what kind of rom-com fate brought that moment on?! So awesome. We headed up for our Central Park engagement photography session all together.
Engagement photo shoot locations in Central Park
We wandered around the Upper West Side of Central Park getting to know each other a little better while we took their engagement photos. The evening light was falling absolutely perfectly for these two during their engagement photo shoot in Central Park. Surprisingly, the area was pretty sparse of tourists and park goers on this particular evening. It gave us the opportunity to have some wonderful shots without interruptions of bright red shirts in the background–– which yes, it happens SO much!
