Zara & Nasir’s Dumbo Engagement Photo Shoot

We were so excited to photograph this unique and beautiful engagement session on the Brooklyn Bridge and in Dumbo. Zara and Azure are too absolutely incredible people whose engagement session we love photographing. This color for photo shoot in New York City brought so much light on a cloudy and rainy day. We started off with a Brooklyn Bridge engagement photo shoot at sunrise.

These two came out very early on a rainy morning to capture their engagement photos on the Brooklyn Bridge. We always recommend that our couples come out at the crack of dawn for the best results in this iconic New York City engagement photo location. This is because shortly after the sunrises, there are lots of runners, cyclists, and tourists who come out to see the Brooklyn Bridge. Even though they showed up in the rain on the Brooklyn Bridge, these two were excellent sports about it. Zara wore a traditional outfit to start off the photo shoot. We love the colorful elements that Zara brought out in her outfit on this particularly grey day in New York. This happy couple warmed up to the camera quickly, and we had a fun and silly engagement photo shoot.

Classic Dumbo Engagement Photos in New York

After we had taken lots of engagement pictures on the Brooklyn Bridge, we headed over to Dumbo for the classic Dumbo engagement photography shot. We started on Washington Street with the truly epic view of the Manhattan bridge in the background. With a few people there because it was early and rainy, we were very thrilled to have such an intimate and romantic engagement photo session in Dumbo.

We then moved over to the Time Out Market for these two to warm up on this rainy day in New York. Photographing some shots under the string lights in the timeout market, are used to change outfits and created a warm and loving set of photos under the sparkly lights.

The Best View for Photos in Dumbo, Brooklyn

After warming up a bit, we all headed to the roof for some photos with the best view in New York City. Time Out Market is one of those hidden gems where they have truly one of the most stunning views in all of New York. You can see the Brooklyn Bridge from the rooftop and the cinematic Manhattan skyline. We took some photos on the roof before heading back out to Brooklyn Bridge Park for some more engagement photos.

In Brooklyn Bridge Park, we took the final photos of the day. Brooklyn Bridge Park is a perfect location for engagement photos. There is a lot of versatility in this location. From Jane’s Carousel to the beautiful view of Manhattan, you have so many choices.
