Kyra and Iulian had a beautiful, bright and romantic Brooklyn Heights engagement session. We met this fun couple on the promenade in this historic NYC neighborhood. Walking around the neighborhood, we took in the beauty this neighborhood has to offer. The honesty that Iulian has in his eyes for Kyra, is just so beautiful. You can tell that it’s love at first sight with these two!

Why Do a Brooklyn Heights Engagement Session?
We love doing engagement sessions at The Brooklyn Bridge, but unfortunately, it’s very busy and if you don’t wake up early enough…unfortunately there are no spots available. After all, everyone wants these beautiful shots by the bridge with the Manhattan skyline in the background. The Brooklyn Heights Promenade, on the other hand, is a great location with NYC skyline and iconic brownstones.
Iconic Brownstones in Brooklyn Engagement Photos
Brooklyn Heights is the hip place to get your engagement photos done. Kyra and Iulian were totally low key with their Brooklyn Heights Engagement Photos, which made it even nicer. It’s like having the whole neighborhood to ourselves! These two were very comfortable with each other (and us!) and they both knew how much they meant to each other.
History of the Brooklyn Heights Neighborhood
Brooklyn Heights is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It is bounded by Atlantic Avenue to the east, Cadman Plaza to the west, Clark Street to the north, and Pierrepont Street to the south. Originally a Dutch village, Brookyn Heights became a fashionable suburb after 1834 when the first suspension bridge, designed by John A. Roebling, was built across the East River connecting it with Downtown Brooklyn. The area peaked in popularity in the early 1900s when it was home to many of the city’s wealthy residents.
