The family we worked with was a joy to photograph. We started off the session by walking around the park, capturing candid moments of the family enjoying the beautiful fall weather. The scenery by Lullwater Bridge is just beautiful, especially on an overcast day like this.

Prospect Park is a great place to take family photos, as there are plenty of spots with wide open fields and beautiful trees, creating a wonderful and dreamy atmosphere.

For a sunny day, the best time of day to take family photos in Prospect Park is in the morning. The light at this time of day is softer and easier to work with than in the afternoon. The morning also tends to be cooler and more comfortable for everyone involved. During this time, we found the park to be less crowded and allow us to have more creative freedom to capture beautiful memories.

Overcast weather can make for some of the best family photos. The light is much softer and easier to work with, and it eliminates any strong shadows. Plus, the muted colors of the grey clouds can create a beautiful and dreamy atmosphere. On this particular day, the overcast sky made for some gorgeous photos, and we were all so pleased with the results.

The best spot for family photos in Prospect Park is the boathouse and Lullwater bridge because of the beautiful architecture, stunning scenery, and amazing lighting. The area is serene and perfect for capturing timeless family portraits. The trees and foliage in the area create a breathtaking backdrop, and the natural light is ideal for photography. Furthermore, we always enjoy coming back to this spot to capture beautiful family photos that the family will cherish for years to come.
