Sweet Manhattan Engagement Shoot on a Sunny Autumn Day

We started out on Front St, one of our favorite spots. The couple was shielded from the sun between old brick buildings. This street has cobblestones that bring out the extra cinematic qualities of this area. While Mattie and Sean will tie the knot in the Hudson Valley, they want to capture this chapter of their relationship. Their first dates were in the Seaport area, as Sean lived over here. They also regularly walked the Brooklyn Bridge together, which made us want to throw that into the mix.

We also love the DUMBO skyline backdrop is viewable from Pier 17. It makes for a lovely waterfront atmosphere, but it’s a lot less busy than the Brooklyn Bridge Park.
