When Allison and Andrew first got in touch with me about their Red Hook elopement photography, we were so excited – they were planning the most relaxed waterfront wedding with an intimate ceremony, and Steve’s Key Lime Pie to celebrate. Allison and Andrew are the sweetest people, and we loved capturing their special day.
Red Hook Elopement Photos on the Waterfront
We started at the Red Hook waterfront, where the groom had first proposed to Allison, and it was so sentimental for this couple, because they returned to the start of this chapter. Allison wore a lovely patterned dress and Andrew wore a green shirt to match. They looked awesome!
Cute, Candid Red Hook Elopement with Laid Back Attire
We loved the theme of green they kept for their Brooklyn elopement outfits because it fit perfectly with Steve’s Key Lime Pie. This was the scene of their first date, and a major part of the Red Hook elopement celebration. Plus, we can never say no to a little bit of key lime pie – it’s definitely a favorite!
Intimate Elopement Photos in Brooklyn
The wedding took place at the waterfront in Red Hook, and was a stunning intimate ceremony. They had personal vows they’d written themselves, which was just magical. After the ceremony they had a sweet first kiss, and then it was time for portraits. This sunny day in Red Hook was quite chilly, as it was an autumn day.
Romantic New York City Waterfront Wedding Photos
The waterfront in NYC tends to be on the colder side in the fall and winter, but these two were totally good sports about it. It was so worth it to them to be in the spot where they first agreed to marry each other. We loved capturing the joy and intimacy of this Brooklyn elopement ceremony.
Red Hook Locations for Industrial NYC Wedding Photos
It was a beautifully sunny day, which was perfect for their bright autumn wedding photos in NYC. Their bold color choices for their outfits matched well with the street art and beauty around Red Hook.
Unique Brooklyn Elopement Photo Locations
This is such a unique area of Brooklyn to take wedding photos. You can see the beautiful NYC skyline from the waterfront, and even have a view of the Statue of Liberty! We love the industrial vibes of this neighborhood at the edge of Brooklyn.
Where to Elope in Red Hook, Brooklyn
If there’s one place to elope in this neighborhood, it’s definitely the Louis Valentino Jr. Park and Pier. This location makes you feel like you’re on the edge of the world! Right across from Governor’s Island, it was a total joy to shoot this Red Hook elopement at the waterfront. We wish Allison and Andrew so much luck on their next chapter!
