Anath and Chris said their vows atop Cherry Hill in Central Park. Surrounded by fall foliage, they chose a perfect time of year to elope in this iconic NYC location. We love wedding ceremonies taking place in Central Park – an iconic spot for New York wedding photographers.
These two got married in the first week of November – an awesome time of year for the end of peak foliage. Although it varies from year to year, any time from mid-October to the first week of November is typically great for a colorful fall wedding. It’s also the point where the weather is still comfortable before things start to get a little chilly.

We started the day on Bow Bridge, right underneath Cherry Hill. These two wanted to marry at the top of Cherry Hill, overlooking the lake. We stayed in the area for their wedding photos, which was perfect given that this area is packed with gorgeous locations.

After Bow Bridge, we made our way over to Bethesda Terrace. The fall light hit this area perfectly. Just above Bethesda Terrace is The Mall/Literary Walk, a gorgeous tree-lined area for Central Park wedding photos. All the areas in this part of the park are heavily featured in TV shows and moves based in New York. It truly feels straight out of a movie!

When choosing a spot to get married in the park, there are tons of options. Some of the most popular spots include Wagner Cove, Wisteria Pergola, Bow Bridge, Bethesda Terrace, Gapstow Bridge, and others. Anath and Chris decided to tie the knot upon Cherry Hill, overlooking the lake and Bow Bridge.

Since these two had more of a Central Park elopement vibe going on, Anath wore a gorgeous white jumpsuit. This Cherry Hill wedding featured Chris in a three-piece suit, a great option for suit-wearers who are looking for a little extra warmth. Fall weddings can get kind of chilly, so choosing outfits with more coverage can keep you comfortable for your wedding photos.
This Cherry Hill elopement showed Chris and Anath surrounded by close family and friends. They also included their sweet pup in the wedding, making it a whole family occasion! We loved the addition of their pup, plus their dog’s tux. As New York wedding photographers, one of our favorite things is to see how couples dress up their pups.
