Incredibly Fun 501 Union Winter Wedding with Lots of Sparkle

The bride started her day at the Ace Hotel Brooklyn. This getting ready spot is perfect for couples who are tying the knot in Gowanus. We recommend a hotel with easy access for your wedding day in this borough, like the Ace. Peter started his day at a private residence before the couple headed over to the church. The couple had a Polish Catholic church ceremony in Greenpoint prior to their celebration by the canal. Their church ceremony was just for family, while they held a personal one afterward.

Next, we went to the venue to take their portraits together. In the wintertime, we love to shoot at this venue. There is no shortage of beautiful locations within the event space to take pictures. We love that you can stay indoors the entire time and not have to worry about lighting, decor, etc. Everything is taken care of there. With the help of planner Poppy & Lynn, they also had a personalized vintage arcade game of them on their wedding day. Like, yes! Actually them – it was the coolest.

Peter and Nathali then had guests attend their 501 Union winter wedding ceremony which was the more personal side of their nuptials. The two exchanged heartfelt vows as tears welled amongst their loved ones. This couple stood in front of a unique hexagonal arch that was adorned with glittery ribbon. We can’t get enough of the florals as well. The event design really brought out the best of this Gowanus wedding venue.

Colorful, Fun Wedding with Stunning Florals and Style

Nathali’s dress is from Pantora Bridal. Hair and makeup was done by Brides by Sette and Chrys Coles Makeup. Catering was done by Jillicious Foods. Stationery is by Paper Love Spell. The dance floor was additionally kept turned up all night by Blanc Noir DJs. This vendor team did an incredible job at pulling together the couple’s incredibly personal wedding day. We especially love the florals by BLUMENHAUS who did a tremendous job.

An Amazing Reception for this 501 Union Winter Wedding

One of our favorite parts of the night, you can see, is after cocktail hour. Nathali and Peter changed outfits to their reception looks to surprise family and friends. The bride wore a gorgeous ombre dress, and the groom wore a sexy shirt of his bride! It was such a cute addition to the day and really showed off their personalities. Plus, we love when couples can move around and be free in their reception looks.
