Caitlin and Graham’s Montauk Yacht Club wedding was a day to remember. Formerly known as Gurney’s Star Island Resort, this Hamptons wedding venue is a perfect place for a unique and beautiful wedding. The whole day had a downpour of rain, but that didn’t stop our couple from making the most of their celebration. Romantic and Rainy Montauk Yacht Club Wedding

One great choice that Caitlin made was to have her hair and makeup team stay until the ceremony ended. She was able to get hair and makeup touch-ups throughout the day as we photographed portraits on the rainy beach. Though there were both indoor and outdoor spaces for the ceremony and wedding reception, these two leaned in and had the best time in the poor weather.

Wedding Celebration at the former Gurney’s Star Island Resort

Located on the edge of East Hampton, this resort marina on Long Island is a great spot to have your special day. Their event space is versatile and clearly can accommodate weddings both inside and outside. Although these two couldn’t tie the knot on the beach, they had a gorgeous interior for their celebration instead.

Rainy Wedding Photos at the Montauk Yacht Club

This Montauk wedding photography was seriously such a fun time to capture. Before the wedding ceremony, Caitlin and Graham’s first look took place with the lighthouse as the backdrop. This iconic spot is the perfect place to start your photo session; especially since the suite opens up to the area. You also get a great view of the water from this balcony.

The couple then headed down to the beach for some rainy wedding pictures in the sand. We also appreciated how attentive the venue staff was for Caitlin and Graham’s looks on the day. They helped to carry around her dress and bouquet. It allowed for us to quickly capture their Montauk Yacht Club wedding portraits without wasting too much time.
