We're Beacon-based Hudson Valley & Catskills wedding + elopement photographers who love to capture natural, authentic moments for all couples in love.
With all the stress of planning a wedding, it can be easy to lose sight of what it’s actually about. The whole point is to celebrate your love and surround yourself with the people who matter most. As you work through seating charts and vendor contracts, there’s no better time to start thinking about how you want to remember this day. Hiring a professional Hudson Valley wedding videographer is one of the best ways to make sure those memories last.
Wedding videos are not something that can be done by just anyone. The goal is to create something that feels cinematic, crafted by professionals who know what they’re doing. With years of experience capturing weddings throughout the Hudson Valley, Catskills, and Westchester, we’ve encountered all kinds of situations, from outdoor ceremonies at Storm King Art Center to candlelit receptions at The Roundhouse. That experience has made us an extremely well rounded wedding videography and photography team.
Every wedding presents its own challenges, whether it’s tricky lighting, tight timelines, or unpredictable weather. Having a team that’s worked at venues like The Garrison, Blooming Hill Farm, and Onteora Mountain House means we already know how to navigate those situations. We spend less time problem solving and more time capturing what matters.
The ceremony is often the only part of your wedding day that you actually experience in real time. Everything else moves so fast, and before you know it, you’re picking out thank you cards and wondering where the night went. Your wedding video makes sure you don’t miss a single moment, from the first dance to the look on your best friend’s face when they see you for the first time.
No matter how present you try to be, you’re going to miss things. Maybe it’s the toast your cousin gave while you were greeting guests, or the moment your grandparents hit the dance floor. A professional Hudson Valley wedding videographer captures all of it so you can experience those moments later, even the ones you didn’t know were happening.
Your family and friends are going to want to watch your wedding video over and over again. For loved ones who couldn’t make it, whether due to distance, health, or scheduling conflicts, having a video means they can still be part of the day. It’s something everyone can revisit for years to come.
Having a wedding videographer gives you final say on how your day is remembered. You get to choose the music, the pacing, and which moments are highlighted. It’s your story, told the way you want to tell it.
There are many reasons to hire a professional Hudson Valley wedding videographer, but the biggest one is this: your day will be captured in a way that lets everyone relive it. Not just the big moments, but the small ones too. The way your partner looked at you during the vows. The laughter during the speeches. The tears your mom tried to hide. These are the moments that matter, and video preserves them in a way photos simply can’t.
There’s nothing more special than sharing your wedding day with your children and grandchildren someday. A wedding video becomes an heirloom, something that can be passed down and treasured for generations. They’ll get to see how much love filled the room on the day you said yes.
We’ve had the privilege of filming all kinds of weddings throughout the Hudson Valley and Catskills. Every couple is different, and we approach each wedding with the same level of care and attention, no matter the size or style.
Elopements have become one of our favorite types of weddings to film. There’s something beautiful about a couple who decides to keep things intimate and focused entirely on each other. Whether you’re eloping at a mountaintop overlook, a quiet garden at Boscobel House and Gardens, or a private corner of City Winery Hudson Valley, we capture the day without getting in the way.
Intimate weddings allow for a different kind of coverage. We can focus on longer moments, capture more personal interactions, and move through the day at a relaxed pace. Large celebrations bring their own energy, with packed dance floors and big family dynamics. We’ve filmed both at venues like Whitby Castle and The Briarcliff Manor, and we love the unique challenges each size brings.
The Hudson Valley is known for stunning outdoor ceremony locations. We’ve filmed couples exchanging vows with mountain views at Onteora Mountain House, in gardens at Tappan Hill Mansion, and under string lights at rustic farms. Indoor venues offer their own charm, from the industrial elegance of The Roundhouse to classic ballrooms at Tarrytown House Estate. We know how to work with both natural and artificial lighting to make sure your video looks stunning.
Each season brings something different to your wedding video. Fall foliage weddings are iconic in the Hudson Valley, with the mountains turning brilliant shades of orange and red. Winter weddings offer cozy indoor receptions and the possibility of snow covered footage. Spring brings blooming gardens and soft light, while summer means golden hour that seems to last forever. We’ve filmed weddings in every season and can help you think through how the time of year will affect your day.
One of the biggest advantages of hiring a local videography team is that we already know the venues. We’ve filmed at locations throughout the region, which means we know the best angles, where the light falls at different times of day, and how to navigate each space.
Some of the Hudson Valley wedding venues we’ve filmed at include The Roundhouse, The Garrison, Boscobel House and Gardens, City Winery Hudson Valley, Storm King Art Center, Blooming Hill Farm, Onteora Mountain House, Whitby Castle, The Briarcliff Manor, Tappan Hill Mansion, Tarrytown House Estate, and Harvest on Hudson. We’ve also covered weddings at dozens of other estates, barns, vineyards, and outdoor spaces throughout the region.
When your videographers already know a venue, there’s less guesswork and more capturing. We can plan ahead for the best shots, anticipate timing based on how the day typically flows at that location, and spend less time scouting and more time focused on you.
We want you to feel prepared and excited leading up to your wedding day. Here’s what working with us looks like from booking to delivery.
Once you book with us, we’ll schedule a consultation to get to know you as a couple and talk through the details of your day. We’ll discuss your vision, your timeline, and any must have moments you want us to prioritize. We’ll also ask about song requests for your highlight film so the final edit feels personal to you. As your wedding gets closer, we’ll help you build a realistic timeline that accounts for travel, golden hour, and buffer room for surprises.
On the day itself, we arrive early to scout the space and check in with your other vendors. From there, we’re with you throughout the day, from getting ready through the last dance. We work quietly and stay out of the way during emotional moments, but we’re always nearby to capture what matters. Our goal is to make the videography process feel effortless so you can stay present and enjoy your day.
After your wedding, you can expect your video delivered within four weeks. You’ll receive a digital link to your highlight film that you can share with family and friends. The highlight film is edited to music and tells the story of your day in a cinematic way.
Our standard package includes a highlight film edited to music. If you’d like more comprehensive coverage, we offer add ons for full ceremony video and full speeches video. These are great options for couples who want to relive every word of their vows or share the toasts with family members who couldn’t attend.
At the end of the day, your job is to spend time with the people you love. A lot of couples get so wrapped up in making sure everything runs smoothly that they forget to be present. Hiring a professional Hudson Valley wedding videographer means you can relax knowing every moment is being captured, even the ones you miss while hugging your aunt or sneaking a quiet moment with your partner.
Many couples feel awkward on camera, and that’s completely normal. We’ve been doing this for years and know how to make you feel comfortable. Our documentary style approach means we’re capturing real moments, not directing you through scripted scenes. You just have to show up and be yourselves.
When it comes down to it, what’s most important is the memories your wedding video creates. A lot of couples focus on photography, flowers, and music, but forget that video captures something none of those things can: movement, sound, and time. The eyebrow raises. The happy tears. The inside jokes. These are the moments that make your wedding yours.
Professional wedding videographers don’t just document what happened. They tell the story of how you found each other, how you fell in love, and how you decided to spend your lives together. That story is something that will never change, and it can be passed down for generations to come.
