We're Beacon-based Hudson Valley & Catskills wedding + elopement photographers who love to capture natural, authentic moments for all couples in love.
Choosing the right Hudson Valley wedding photography team can make all the difference in how you remember your day. These memories deserve to be captured by people who truly understand both the art and the emotion behind every moment. When your team works together seamlessly, like ours does, the results speak for themselves.
There are plenty of Catskills wedding photographers and videographers out there, but finding a team that genuinely clicks is something special. We’ve been working together for years (and married even longer), which means we anticipate each other’s movements, know exactly when to step in or step back, and never get in each other’s shots.
Whether you’re planning a first look at a Hudson Valley estate like Tappan Hill Mansion or capturing candid moments during cocktail hour at a Catskills barn venue like Blooming Hill Farm, having photographers and videographers who know each other’s rhythm creates a more relaxed experience for everyone. You won’t have two strangers bumping into each other trying to capture the same moment from conflicting angles.
Every couple is different, and your wedding photography and videography should reflect that. We specialize in documentary style coverage throughout the Hudson Valley, Catskills, and Westchester areas. This means capturing genuine moments as they unfold naturally, thoughtful posing guidance when you want it without feeling stiff or overly directed, and attention to the details you’ve worked hard to curate.
We work with you to understand your vision and the vibe you’re going for. Some couples want minimal intervention, just us blending into the background and documenting. Others appreciate more direction during portraits. We’re comfortable with both approaches and everything in between, whether you’re saying your vows at Whitby Castle or dancing the night away at Harvest on Hudson.
We’ve had the privilege of documenting all kinds of weddings throughout the Hudson Valley and Catskills, from elopements with just a handful of guests to large celebrations with hundreds of family and friends. No matter the size or style, we approach each wedding with the same care and attention.
Elopements have become one of our favorite types of weddings to photograph. There’s something special about a couple who decides to keep things small and focused entirely on each other. Whether you’re eloping at a courthouse, a mountaintop, or a quiet corner of Storm King Art Center, we’re here to capture the intimacy of the day without getting in the way.
Intimate weddings, typically under 50 guests, allow for a different kind of coverage. We can spend more time on portraits, capture more one on one moments with guests, and move through the day at a relaxed pace. Large celebrations bring their own energy, with packed dance floors, elaborate details, and big family dynamics to document. We’ve photographed both at venues like The Briarcliff Manor and Tarrytown House Estate, and we love the unique challenges each size brings.
The Hudson Valley offers some of the most beautiful outdoor ceremony locations in the region. We’ve photographed couples exchanging vows with mountain views at Onteora Mountain House, surrounded by gardens at Boscobel House and Gardens, and under string lights at rustic farm venues. Indoor venues come with their own charm, from the industrial elegance of The Roundhouse to the classic ballrooms at The Garrison. We know how to work with both natural and artificial lighting to make sure your photos and video look stunning no matter the setting.
Each season in the Hudson Valley brings something different to your wedding photos and video. Fall foliage weddings are iconic here, with the mountains turning brilliant shades of orange and red as the perfect backdrop. Winter weddings offer cozy indoor receptions and the possibility of snow covered portraits. Spring brings blooming gardens and soft light, while summer means golden hour portraits that last forever and outdoor celebrations under warm evening skies. We’ve photographed weddings in every season and can help you think through how the time of year will affect your timeline and portrait locations.
One of the biggest advantages of hiring a local team is that we already know the venues. We’ve photographed weddings at locations throughout the region, which means we know where the light falls at different times of day, which corners make for the best portraits, and how to navigate tricky layouts without missing a beat.
Some of the Hudson Valley wedding venues we’ve had the pleasure of shooting at include The Roundhouse, The Garrison, Boscobel House and Gardens, and City Winery Hudson Valley. We’ve also covered weddings at Storm King Art Center, Blooming Hill Farm, Onteora Mountain House, Whitby Castle, The Briarcliff Manor, Tappan Hill Mansion, Tarrytown House Estate, and Harvest on Hudson, along with dozens of other estates, barns, vineyards, and outdoor spaces throughout the region.
When your photographers already know a venue, there’s less scrambling and more capturing. We can plan ahead for the best spots, anticipate timing based on how the day typically flows at that location, and spend less time scouting and more time focused on you.
We want you to feel prepared and excited leading up to your wedding day, not stressed about logistics. Here’s what working with us looks like from booking to delivery.
Once you book with us, we’ll schedule a consultation to get to know you as a couple and talk through the details of your day. We’ll discuss your vision, your timeline, and any must have shots or moments you want us to prioritize. For videography, we’ll also ask about song requests for your highlight film so the final edit feels personal to you. As your wedding day gets closer, we’ll help you build a realistic photography timeline that accounts for travel between locations, golden hour timing, and buffer room for the inevitable surprises.
On the day itself, we arrive early to scout the space (even at venues we know well) and check in with your other vendors. From there, we’re with you throughout the day, from getting ready through the last dance. We work quietly and stay out of the way during emotional moments, but we’re always nearby when you need direction for portraits or family photos. Our goal is to make the photography and videography process feel effortless so you can stay present and enjoy your day.
After your wedding, you can expect your photos and video delivered digitally. Videography turnaround is typically four weeks, and you’ll receive a link to your highlight film that you can share with family and friends. Photos are delivered through a private online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints.
Our standard videography package includes a highlight film edited to music. If you’d like more comprehensive coverage, we offer add ons for full ceremony video and full speeches video. These are great options for couples who want to relive every word of their vows or share the toasts with family members who couldn’t attend.
Hiring a professional Hudson Valley wedding photographer means more than just someone with good gear. It’s about experience navigating different lighting conditions at Catskills venues, knowing the best spots for golden hour portraits at your specific location, and understanding how to work with other vendors without disrupting the flow of your day.
Wedding photos are often the only tangible memories you’ll have long after the flowers have wilted and the cake has been eaten. Your dress will be preserved in a box, but these images will be the ones you actually look at, share with family, and eventually show your kids. That’s why we take this work seriously, not in a stressful way, but in a way that honors what the day means to you.
Video captures something photography simply can’t: movement, sound, and time. Hearing your partner’s voice crack during the vows, watching your grandmother’s reaction during the first dance, catching the chaos and laughter of getting ready with your crew. These are moments that deserve to be preserved in motion.
As a Catskills wedding videographer team, we know how to be present without being intrusive. We’re skilled at capturing genuine reactions and emotions without making anyone feel like they’re performing. The goal is always footage that feels true to who you are, not a generic wedding highlight reel that could belong to anyone.
When you hire us as your Hudson Valley wedding photography team, you’re getting two people who’ve worked hundreds of events together. We communicate constantly throughout the day, sometimes with words, sometimes with just a look, to make sure nothing important slips through the cracks.
We also work well with other vendors. Your wedding day involves a lot of moving pieces. We’ve built relationships with planners, DJs, florists, and venue coordinators throughout the Hudson Valley and Catskills. We know how to work within timelines, respect other professionals’ space, and adapt when things inevitably don’t go exactly as planned.
Based in Beacon, we serve couples throughout the Hudson Valley, Catskills, and Westchester. If you’re looking for a wedding photography team that will document your day authentically, without the stress of managing two separate vendors who’ve never met, we’d love to hear from you.
Your wedding day goes by faster than you’d ever expect. Let’s make sure you have the photos and video to remember it by.
Either way works for us! We’ll be in touch in no time at all to book in a chat with you and, yes, we’re sure Cordy and Phoebe will pop up and say hi.
