One of the most gorgeous places in New York City is a seriously underrated photo location. Often overlooked in favor of DUMBO, you can get some seriously awesome engagement photos at Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Lowell and Ryan chose to shoot their engagement session there, and we’re so glad they did. The blue skies over the East River contrast beautifully with the colorful outfits, making for some great shots that are vibrant and alive.
When to Take Engagement Photos at Brooklyn Heights Promenade
Though you can shoot engagement photos at Brooklyn Heights Promenade year round, the best time to go is during a sunny day. The blue skies will make your colors pop and your images really shine. This is a great location for couples of any season, though it may be more crowded in spring and summer. Either way, you’ll still have lots of privacy on the Promenade.
What to Wear for Your Brooklyn Heights Engagement Photo Shoot
Lowell and Ryan wore vibrant colors, which really pop against the blue skyline. Anyone can wear colors like blues, greens, or purples to look great in this photo location. If you don’t want to wear solid colors, mix them with white for a great effect. As long as you have bright colors in your outfit, accessories are just the cherry on top.
