Sam started the day getting ready at the Soho Grand Hotel. This hotel is one of the most beautiful accommodations in New York for getting ready on your wedding day. They have spacious suites with lovely city views. Nico was getting ready at home with his family and friends nearby. These two had their closest friends start the day with them during the process.

The couple had their first look outside on the terrace at the Soho Grand Hotel. Nico saw Sam for the first time and they shared an emotional moment together. There is also a beautiful outdoor space to take photos with views of Little Island. It was nice to have this range so we could get the family photos done with natural light. The indoor space at City Winery event venue is just as gorgeous with plenty of intricate detail.

The grandeur of this Manhattan wedding venue in Chelsea is breathtaking. Packed with personality and charm, City Winery event spaces are spectacular for any occasion. Sam and Nico looked incredible during their celebration and we had a great time photographing every moment of their day. Their ceremony took place in the main room, decorated with Christmas trees.

After they said their vows, Nico swept Sam off her feet for a beautiful first kiss. We loved capturing such a special moment surrounded by family and friends. When going for a first kiss, we always advise couples to take it slow just in case. They did everything right – and so much more!

Next came cocktail hour at their City Winery wedding. This venue is awesome for cocktails because not only do you get the bar, but the whole city outside your window! Sam and Nico loved everyone’s reactions to their amazing appetizers and friendly bar staff.

After that came the reception when the party really began. The live music brought Sam and Nico in for their grand entrance. They danced the night away with all of their loved ones and we had a blast photographing it all! At this City Winery wedding, we could not have been more in love with the way people were breaking it down on the dance floor. It was an absolute dream for New York wedding photographers like us.

Sam and Nico chose to go for a darker color palette, adorning the space in pine and twinkling lights. We absolutely adored how they lit up their City Winery wedding venue with candles as well. The Storytellers Band played awesomely at the wedding and fed off the energy of the crowd. Ivie Joy Flowers did a great job capturing the beauty of the big day. Sara Landon Events brought everything together in a stunning way. As well, the cupcakes from Billy’s Bakery made the guests smile from ear to ear.
