Kerry and Nick’s spring wedding at The Garrison took place on a beautiful early March day in the Hudson Valley. The views of the Hudson River served as the perfect backdrop for their celebration. Getting Ready for a Spring Wedding at The Garrison

The couple got ready at the Courtyard Marriott Fishkill, about fifteen minutes away from the wedding venue. This spacious hotel was a great spot to have their loved ones start the day with them. Kerry had some fun champagne confetti poppers to make her photos have a little extra sparkle before getting into her wedding dress.

The Bridal Suite for Pre-Ceremony Moments

The Garrison also has a gorgeous bridal suite for getting ready photos. The light-filled room is cozy and perfect for relaxing before the wedding ceremony begins. Depending on your timeline, you may be able to get ready at this suite as well.

First Look by the Hudson Valley View Gazebo

Kerry and Nick did their first look by the iconic gazebo on the venue’s grounds. You can’t have a spring wedding at The Garrison without photos at this beautiful, twisting gazebo. After their first look, the couple spent some time alone taking photos around the venue as the early spring landscape began to wake up around them.

Family and Wedding Party Portraits

Before the ceremony, we love when we can get family and wedding party photos done ahead of time. This way, everyone can enjoy the cocktail hour and reception without having to worry about portraits. As it was a bit chilly for early March, we got these done quickly and gave the couple some time to rest ahead of their vows.

Indoor Ceremony with Hudson Valley Views

The ceremony was held inside in their gorgeous wedding venue space. With sprawling views of the Hudson Valley visible through the windows, the indoor setting was just as stunning as an outdoor ceremony would have been. After the ceremony, the newlyweds walked back down the aisle to cheers from their loved ones.

One of the best parts of this Hudson Valley wedding venue is the golden hour view. As the sun sets over the rolling hills, the light is absolutely incredible. We took advantage of this for some romantic cocktail hour photos of the newlyweds while guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers.

Reception Dancing All Night

The party went all night long with a mix of old school jams and modern hits that had everyone on the dance floor. As the night went on, we snuck the newlyweds out for some final photos roasting marshmallows by the fire. These moments are always some of our favorites from a spring wedding at The Garrison.

No wedding day is complete without an incredible team of vendors. Hudson Valley Flowers had gorgeous florals featured throughout the ceremony and reception. East Coast Soul tore up the dance floor and kept the party going. Auburn and Ash and Alexa Rae made for a perfect hair and makeup team for the big day. With cake from The Pastry Garden Bakery, the night was perfect every step of the way.
