With a large, deep blue facade on the outside, you can’t miss this event space as you drive by. Elegant and industrial, this space is the perfect blend of old and new. But what’s more exciting is the rooftop event space in Brooklyn. They have a beautiful roof with views of the Manhattan skyline and of the neighborhood. It’s easy to fall in love with this creative NYC wedding venue found in a trendy location.

Wedding Pictures in the Exposed Brick Courtyard

Sasha and Kit began their day with a first look in the courtyard. This spot will lead you into the venue on ground level, or you can take the stairs up to the rooftop. Since the ceremony space was being set up on the roof, we took their portraits in this intimate spot. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the couple were able to fully be present with each other and soak in the day.

First Look and Family Photos Before Dobbin St Wedding Ceremony

These two chose to get all of their formal photos done ahead of the ceremony. It’s hard to want to do formal photos after you tie the knot. Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at Williamsburg Event Space

The couple’s rooftop ceremony was held on an absolutely perfect day. As wedding photographers in New York, we love to have an overcast day for outdoor ceremony photos. It creates nice, even lighting without harsh shadows. The light was so pretty that Sasha and Kit were able to have a lovely, blank sky as their backdrop. Through laughter and tears, they said their vows and sealed their relationship with a kiss.

One great thing about this venue is that the ceremony and reception can take place in two different spaces. Sasha and Kit held their ceremony and cocktail hour on the rooftop, while the reception took place inside. They even had an incredible traditional Maori Haka dance performed by their family members. It was so full of personal, candid moments throughout the whole night.
