When Eric and Hannah asked us to capture their Stonewall Estates wedding, we couldn’t have been more excited. Megan has known them both since high school, and it was an absolute honor to capture these Niagara wedding photos. As Hudson Valley wedding photographers, returning to see hometown families and friends is always a treat. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to document their wedding day.

This Stonewall Estates wedding was a part of a ridiculously rainy season for us as Buffalo wedding photographers. Although the ceremony was rained out and moved indoors, we still managed to capture some amazing moments. This barn wedding was truly a celebration of love and family. Plus, we got to take some portraits as the rain cleared up right after they tied the knot.

These two made a wedding weekend out of it in Niagara, with family celebrating in the area through the whole weekend. The wedding venue also has a great Airbnb super close to the event space, which made it easy for Hannah and Eric to get ready before their big day. They chose not to do a first look and did their couples photos and family photos during cocktail hour.

One of the great parts about wedding photography in this area is the nature of it all. As wedding photographers in New York’s Hudson Valley, we love to be out in nature. There’s something so special about Niagara, however​​, that makes celebrations like this Stonewall Estates wedding so special. They even have vines to take photos between and a pond to walk around.

We went down to the dock for some couples portraits which was a great idea on this foggy, rainy evening. It was a serene place for Eric and Hannah to talk and be alone together. One thing magical about the Stonewall Estates wedding venue is that there are plenty of secluded spots to take photos. We even got to use their cart to ride around and take photos.

While we’ve spent so much time capturing celebrations in New York City, we also really love to be in nature like this. It’s so special to be able to capture a couple in such lush greenery and natural light. This venue is a hidden gem, nestled in the wooded areas of Niagara. One thing we really appreciate about this wedding venue is the amount of space it has. There are many spots to take photos in the venue as well. The staff are also incredibly kind and accommodating. They were so helpful and made the couple feel so comfortable on the day, even when things went wrong.

The good news is that we got some photos at the ceremony space outdoors even though they couldn’t use it. We also used it for family and wedding party photos, which made it even more special for the couple. There are so many opportunities for great spots at a Stonewall Estates wedding in Niagara. We are absolutely obsessed with these photos.

To round out the evening, the couple and their loved ones delivered toasts and had a great first dance. Then… the party got started!
